5th Gen I skipped gen 5

Yeah, you're right, i liked it very much. But haters are gonna hate.

I skipped Gen 5 which was the one generation I ever missed out on. I felt like it wasn't much of a step up from gen 4 aside from new Pokemon. In the end I jumped back in gen 6 and loved every minute of it, I really can't wait for the next round of games gen 6 has to offer.

Generation 5 to me was like the transition generation. It felt kind of weird because it seemed GameFreak was experimenting with graphics and ways to make the game better. Still good, just felt a little odd.

Something worth noting is that you're going to have to get Gen 5 if you want to ever transfer your Pokemon to later generations.
