I think I've been hit by a virus...

You should contact Shining Arcanine about that...he seems to know...everything...

Hmm... That's wierd. I would recommend taking it to a computer store, where you can have an expert look at the problem. We took ours to one not too long ago, and it costed about $40. But, I think that it was worth it because he installed several good Anti-Virus programs, and he took out TONS of un-needed files, etc. Our computer works better now. If you don't want to do that, then... Er, get Ad-Aware or something, lol. It does work to take out Spy-Ware and stuff. (Kazaa could've caused some of this.)

And if you accidently clicked one of those links when that spammer was posting porn, then it may have downloaded something then. Since, you mentioned that this all started a couple of days ago...
 
As Skye said, are you sure the faulty colors are not just the monitor? We have an old monitor and to get it to display colors correctly we have to open it sometimes and adjust some wires. We rare use it though.
 
Also, you may want to try de-fragmenting your hard drive. If anyone else wants to explain the proccess, please do, because my computer directions are less than wonderful!

Also, be sure to delete your cookies, the files that go with them, and clear your history regularly from your web browser. That can really slow down the computer. It can be found under the tools: internet options... menu of the Internet Explorer web broswer. I'm not sure about Macs
 
I dunno I think I need to get an antivirus program, and soon. It's taken me like 2 hours just to be able to get online, and I hope I can fix this problem soon. Too bad I have no knowledge about computers :P

Norton came with my PC, but I accidentally deleted it :P. I got some CD's for the PC where I could recover some stuff, I got me a Recovery CD, dunno how that would help, but while looking through that stuff, I found my LP CD :P
