    TOO LONG I HAVE WAITED

If you have never heard or seen these two games before, then I strongly recommend these two games when they are re-released in glorious HD.

These two games were my first truly favorite childhood games. I loved them so much I played them all the time. Team Ico are amazingly masterful when it comes to games, in my opinion.

Even though it is a early hype for their new game, The Last Guardian, I don't care. I haven't been this excited to play a re-released game in a long time.

These two games were for the PS2 and since mine broke a while back, I haven't been able to play them, but I will be one of the first to be buying this. =D

Have you played these games? And are you looking forward to Team Ico's third installment?

I so so so can't wait for Shadow of Colossus, loved it so much.
Such a pity it's a collectors item now so can't really find it in shops :(

Oh my god, I loved watching my brother play Colossus. And now being released on PS3, the graphics will be ever so beautiful, I can't wait to see how they use HD. <3

I heard Ico was a pretty good game, I've always wanted to play it. Annd after seeing a few trailers of the Last Guardian, I really want it. Soo I might end up buying all of them. :D

    …I knew I forgot something :(

I have Shadow Of The Colossus rotting in my PS2 shelf because I can't find the 7th Colossus. I plan on buying the collection not only because of Ico but so I can see Shadow Of The Colossus in HD. I'm not that excited for The Last Guardian, but I'll still end up buying it if it'll be anything like Shadow Of The Colossus.

Ico is one of my all time favorite games. It's such a unique gaming experience. Playing it again if HD should be sweet. Have yet to beat SOTC, and while I don't like it as much as Ico, it's a great game in it's own right. The Last Guardian can't come soon enough!

I own Colossus on PS2 but have never been able to get into it. Mind you, that may very well be because the first time I tried to play it, I got to the first Colossus and died. And hadn't saved or anything so I knew I had to watch that whole opening cutscene again and just haven't picked it up again since. Oops.

Definitely interested in Ico though since I've heard so, so much about it--everything good. Definitely wanna try that out and this'll be my best chance since I haven't ever seen it for sale on PS2. D:

I don't have a PS3 and I don't intend on buying one. But, both games seem intriguing.

By "HD" what exactly is being changed? Are there new models and textures or is it just outputting a greater resolution?

The HD remakes are going to be higher quality with trophy support, better framerates, and probably new features. The SotC framerate does dip at times when you're close to them, and I heard that due to the memory capacity they couldn't put an extra colossi in there, so maybe this will change things. Lastly, there could be something like Move support. The Sly Cooper Collection has Move support, but I doubt that Move would be implemented well in a game like Ico or SotC.

I remember playing Ico when I was just a kid and I was constantly scared of the flying darkness things. It looked like an amazing game graphic-wise because I was in a transition from PS1 to PS2. Heck, it still looks good when I load it on my PS2. And now it's being remade in HD.

    Totally. Getting. The. Game.
