6th Gen Idea: Give away starter sets during release

I'm just trying to gauge the interest here.

My little brother and I have been contemplating giving away starter sets to the people who show up to our local gamestop for launch night(Usually a couple hours before midnight).
Would you be excited to get a few free Pokemon the night of release? Would it kill your interest in catching your own? Are there obstacles we'd run into with trading into the new games? Would shinies/6IV be overkill?

Or would it benefit the local Pokemon community? (Future local tournaments/trading)

Thanks in advance for any feedback!

    Yeah, you should do it!

    Go for it!

They would be especially cool if they had egg moves or hidden abilities. It's true that there are starters everywhere now, but it's not as common to come across ones that are really well-bred.

Besides, I'd be happy to get a Pokémon that someone bred regardless of how rare it is.

If you want to do it, I suggest you go for it! However I do agree you should at least breed for awesome IV spreads/ideal natures to give out to people. c:
