    Were there ever two characters in the anime that you wish would meet? Whether it's because they share the same type of characters, ideals, or maybe because you'd just love to see their interactions with one another. There are so many characters in the series that there are bound to be one or two that you wish could have had the chance to meet again. Especially since previous characters from past generations ever really make a reappearence in future series. The only series that ever really intertwined beyond the female companion coming back was Kanto/Orange Islands/Johto for well... obvious reasons.

    I'd go more into depth later, but I'd really love to see Iris meet Bonnie. They'd make a terrifying duo together imo. That is, if Iris even likes Fairy types and can befriend Dedenne haha. It would be neat for Cilan and Clemont to meet as well. Cilan met Brock so I mean, why not?
     
    I always wanted Molly Hale to meet Max for real, and I'm not saying this just because of SmartKidShipping, either. If Molly could age a few years older than she actually was in her movie, and then meet Max, I think they'd get along wonderfully.
    More recently, I'd like for Molly to also meet Serena-I didn't really think there were any connections between them at first, but I eventually noticed that there were some uncanny similarities between the two. I even found two AminoApps "blogs" that go so far as to go into detail in comparing them:

    I would have loved for Paul and Gary to meet during the Sinnoh region. It was a shame it didn't happen -- seeing as how Paul could have met him, and called him "pathetic" or something, would have loved to see this happen in story tbh. It still pains me it didn't happen.

    I'd have also love to see Ritchie meet May or Dawn, but nothing ever came of Ritchie after his last special in Chronicles, and it's a real shame he didn't meet up with Ash's other companions if you ask me. =/

    I've long wanted for Ritchie to return to visit Ash and his current traveling partners. I'd especially wonder how well he'd get along with Serena.
     
    I want --

    ---1) Iris should meet Drew ! This two are polar opposite of one another.
    Drew is a pretty boy from technologically Advanced City who seek Beauty though Contest while Iris is a Wild girl from ancient village who seek strength though battle.
    Just imagine how they will treat one another. Drew probably will call Iris as a "Unfeminine jungle girl" while Iris will refer him as a "Girly Pretty Boy".
    These two might become even better couple then Contestshipping .

    ---2) Iris meeting both May and Drew ! She makes a quick friends with May but later enter a Contest when Drew criticize her. Drew manage to score a lot of point against Iris until her Exadrill manage to hit Rosered with one Metal Claw that know it out causing Iris to win But she loses to May later.
    Later , May show Iris a "half Cut Ribbon" and telling her that it is the most important ribbon to her since it contain the memory someone very special.

    ---3) Ash meeting Rosa ! Trust me , We all want Rosa in Pokemon Anime.
     
    Paul and Gary, because of their personalities and different views of Pokemon.

    Misty and Serena, just because one traveled with Ash so long ago, and the other is his newer traveling partner, and I think it would be interesting for Misty to catch up with Ash and meet Serena. I'd like to see how they interact.

    Also, Serena and May, for similar reasons. I think I just really liked Misty and May meeting in Hoenn, and May also met Dawn, so I wanna see something similar happen again.

    Lastly, Drew and Paul, just for laughs.
     
    I want all of Ash's companions who haven't met to meet each other.

    Todd meeting Alexa or Viola might be a good plot. Maybe Todd could decide to become a journalist just like Alexa.

    I've always wanted Jimmy and Marina to meet Ash (before anyone tries to correct me, that Ethan counterpart who Ash fights at the start of one of the movies is NOT Jimmy). Since Marina is shown to be a coordinator in DP, it would've been cool to see her compete against Dawn in a contest.

    Since Iris has met Clair, I want her to meet Lance as well since it's speculated that he is Clair's cousin.
     
    I'd like Dawn and Serena to meet, since they were the only girly-girls of the main cast and it'd be interesting to see how they'd interact.
