I'd have a Shuppet! Ghost-type pokemon are my favorites and a Shuppet would be easy to take care of, and since it eats negative emotions it would be great for my mental health to have one as a pet.

Probably a Joltik. Normally not a fan of bugs but I do think it's tiny and cute enough to make a cool pet. That or Eevee, especially with all the different evolution options.
