...then why do they make themselves so delicious?
<3

...?
Personally, I've never ate bugs.
But apperantly, ants taste like Salt & Vinegar chips. :O
Whoever told you that is not a liar but a damned liar. Probably a banker.
Oh, I see.
Then, what DO ants taste like?
Bad ants taste like you'd imagine ants taste like. Good ants taste like almonds.
They'd taste crunchy cooked and look good with a sauce?
Pretty much. Except for pissants, bad ants are just crunchy protein shells with a bit of bitterness. I don't know about the sauce thing, though. There's not really enough ant on an ant to sauce up. 'Spose you could put 'em in honey or something. But that'd just be gimmicky because the honey would completely overpower the ants. Like, you wouldn't even know they were there if you couldn't see them. Honey would be the Omega flavor.
Perhaps a lolipop of ants, and a rich, creamy mushroom sauce of sorts, you dip it a little bit, or a lot, or whatever amount you want, and you bite into it.
Wow, this is probably the first time ants have sounded so good right now. XD
I don't know about mushroom sauce. It may be too mild. But that's a good idea.
>_>
So, what wouldn't be too mild, or too overpowering for ants, hm?
It would have to be sweet or spicy or salty without having too much of an actual flavor. Like chili paste.
I think Salty, it might completement the ants more. Just not overdose.
Hm... perhaps...
you could just sprinkle some delicous salt onto the ants, but just not overdo it?
