I would go back to Ancient Greece with an electric generator and a powerful computer, and teach them how to use computers.

I would go back 10 in time about 5 or 10 years and make sure that I do not make the same mistakes as I did now and the destination would still be where I am now.

If I built a time machine I would only ever use it to go back in hours and days, to change things I did wrong.

If I had a time machine, I'd use it to go back to where I went wrong in my life and try to correct the mistakes I did. I'd also go back to older times to see what they were like.

I'd probably go into the future 5 years at a time (So I don't end up in a time period where the earth was destroyed, and instantly suffocate or something.), until I find a time period that's safe, and has virtual reality and all that other neat future stuff.
