If you could be a Gym Leader

Gym Specialty Type: Dark

Why: I feel like Dark types are underused in the games, and because they don't yet have a gym in the games, I'd give them one. I also like a lot of Dark-types; especially the trio in Cacturne, Scrafty and Weavile. 2nd STAB/Other, F/T/I-Punch, Swagger, Foul Play is their thing. They're a good trio. Yeah.

Speaking

Before Battle: So you're after the Picnic Badge? Well, let me assure you this battle will be no picnic!

During battle (the first non-KO HP loss): My Normal Pokemon took some damage? That's out-of-the ordinary... we're all riled up now!

After sending out last Pokemon: We're going down like dominoes! But there's still one left standing! Give it all you've got!

Defeat: This normally doesn't happen, I'll have you know... but you won fair-and-square. Here's a shiny new Picnic Badge for your collection!

well i'd actually want to be a like blue not specializing in one type but if thats not possible i'd like a psychic type gym because i love things like telekinesis (even trying to do it from time to time:D)

If I was a Gym Leader I'd probably specialise in either rock, steel or dark types. If I had to choose one for this post only, I'd probably opt for dark and I'd be the 7th Gym Leader of my region. My team would consist of:
[PokeCommunity.com] If you could be a Gym Leader
[PokeCommunity.com] If you could be a Gym Leader
[PokeCommunity.com] If you could be a Gym Leader
[PokeCommunity.com] If you could be a Gym Leader

Grass. It's my favorite type. I would use the fully evolved starters from each generation as my Pokemon.

Honestly, I would be a Normal-Type Gym Leader. However, all of my Pokemon would be Ditto, so the type would vary. That way, my Ditto would truly challenge the challenger as they would force them to battle against an exact copy of what they've been training.

I know Ditto aren't exactly the strongest Pokemon out there, but hey, once you see a Gym Leader bring one out then you know you've got to change your battle plan up a bit.

Picking a type is such a hard decision. I would choose Water. It is leaps and bounds my favorite type.

The strongest Pokemon I would have would be Sharpedo.
The two medium leveled Pokemon would be Walrein and Vaporeon.
Then my three lower leveled Pokemon would be Slowking, Whiscash, and Poliwrath.

I'd have the Scurvy Badge and the TM I would give out would be Swagger. Just so you can get your swag. Bwaha

Dark is my favorite type, so I'd probably go with that. My team would be:

Absol
Krookodile
Umbreon
Weavile
Houndoom
Zoroark

In the unlikely event that I didn't go with Dark, I would definitely choose Psychic. My team would be:

Gardevoir
Espeon
Gallade
Starmie
Alakazam
Grumpig

I like fire but i would use dark and dragon my team is Garchomp Salamence Zoroark Umbreon and Tyranitar

Name: Leif (because it sounds like leaf)
Type: Grass
Team:
Ferrothorn
Torterra
Tangrowth
Breloom
Vensaur
Cradily
Puzzle: A gym set in the trees where you have to traverse a maze by swinging on vines.
Badge: Sap Badge
Gym: 8th
TM: Giga Drain
Sayings:
Once completing my maze: "By completing the maze and beating my students you have reached your final step before the elite four. Prepare yourself trainer, for a battle you won't soon forget!"
1st time taking damage: "An interesting choice, I see I might have to change my strategy with you."
Last pokemon: "It's been too long since I've been challenged like this! Prepare yourself for the pride and joy of my team!"
When I lose: "I gave it all I had, but it wasn't enough. You are indeed a very strong trainer worthy of challenging the elite four and I take great pride in awarding you the Sap Badge for your victory."

I would like to be a Fire Type Gym Leader.

With this Pokemon at hand. (I think I'll just be an early Gym Leader.)

Growlithe x2
Magcargo
Charmeleon

Something like that should do. :3

I always imagined myself as a Gym Leader that does only Double Team battles. Not only that, the pokemon I use together will always be the same pokemon species but with completely different move sets and abilities.

Game wise, it won't be that awesome but anime wise...IT WILL BE FUN AND EPIC!

I'd definitely be a Fire-type Gym Leader; I love the type for what it is! Chances are you'd find Gym Leader Aurora giving out the Incendiary Badge.

The team I'd use would be something along the lines of:
• Emboar (Fire / Fighting)
• Houndoom (Fire / Dark)
• Darmanitan (Fire)
• Chandelure (Ghost / Fire)

Witch Doctor Nazca

Specializes in Grass-type and utilizes herbal remedies during the battle to heal his Pokémon.
Also spams status attacks and fights in a 3-vs-3 format (no rotation).
  • Foongus
  • Breloom
  • Parasect
