If you could give a legendary a gender...

I didn't see this anywhere else and so I thought I'd make it.

Basically, the title says it. If you could give a gender to a legendary Pokemon. What would it be? Why?

Ex: I would give Dialga a male gender, because of it's being metal and blue. It'd be good as a male.

Like that.

Giratina would be a girl sense it has a girlish appeal. So should Celibi other than those and Latias of course... all other legendaries are boys.

Palkia

Actually, some people may beg to differ. I, for one, think that Palkia looks kind of
female. This is not because of it's pink color mind you. To me, it always struck me as a "female counter-part" to Dialga. (and I like pink anyway!)

I would give Victini the male gender. It just comes across to me as a male Pokemon.

Mewtwo is more looks as a male for me, but maybe I'll give him 87,5% male and 12,5% female like starters.
And I would give both Meloetta Aria Forme and Pirouette Forme a female gender.

Mew and Shaymin are two Pokemon I've always referred to as being female, while Mewtwo I've always referred to as being male. Some are obvious, as I think Manaphy in particular is referred to as the Prince of the Ocean or something... but I honestly can't recall, and I think in one of the movies, Lugia was shown as more of a female Pokemon, unless I'm mistaken...

It's something I've never really thought about, but I think I'd end up stereotyping them as male, unless, like Mew and Shaymin, I felt otherwise.

Mew, Celebi, Suicune, Lugia, the Lake Trio, Palkia, Phione, Shaymin, Reshiram, Virizion and Meloetta would be female, if it were up to me. They look kind of feminine. I'm not really sure about Jirachi, though - maybe an equal chance for male and female?

Groudon too would be a male and Kyogre a female.

Actually, Jirachi seems rather feminine. If you see the movie: Jirach The Wish Maker. It's voice is rather girlish.

^And, Hypno. I always thought of both Kyogre and Groudon as both male. Oh, well... when I think about it Kyogre is rather girly...

I say Ho-Oh female, I know most people think of it as a male, but being a beautiful rainbow godess is cool. Plus, it would be a female counterpart to Lugia, who to me, looks more masculine. Also, Reshiram is male. Thankfully it's pretty much conformed, Zekrom is, too. Go watch the new Pokemon movie trailers.

Its been sometime I seen Azelf, but yes, I agree with you. But in my opinion, Azelf looks like a little brother.
