If you could go back in time and change one thing...

What thing would you would you change?
And if it wasn't clear enough I'm referring to something you actually had control over and made a decision on.

My uncle always wanted to take me out with his metal detector and look for stuff... but we never got the chance to do it. I also never thanked him for any of the presents he gave me. If I could change anything, I would go back and spend more time with him.

Oh, darn, so I can't go back in time to spend one more week in my mom's placenta? =[

I wouldn't change a darned thing, otherwise. It would be silly. The decisions and choices I've made thus far... goodness knows I wouldn't have been here, posting on a Pokemon board on this very thread.

That's a real tough question to answer seeing as how there are thousands of things that people would want to change.

I for one wouldn't mind going back in time to the dark ages and making sure the science oppression from Christianity never happened, so our technology would be advanced by one thousand years.

I wouldn't change anything, otherwise I would have become a different person and may not have the same friends as I do now. You could seriously just say one sentence to somebody in the past and it would set off a chain reaction that would make eight years into the future totally different.

I have no regrets, so no, I wouldn't change anything.

    Hmm.
I would change the way I acted from 6th grade on. People would look at me in a much different way if i did that.

I would have took the regents i took in 8th grade more seriously. I wouldn't have treated certain people the way I did. I would have and haven't said certain things to people. Wow so many regrets for a 15 year old.

If you mean change something in my life, I would change a lot about my personality when I was in late elementary through middle school and early high school.

Other than that, I'd change the outcome of the 2008 U.S. election.

I would have visited my me maw more before she passed away. And I would have asked her what "airing out" was, because I never understood it. And if you're wondering what that is, hey, don't ask me. I never found out.

    Unlikely.

If you did that the Crusades would likely not happen which would in turn mean the Renaisance would not happen which means we'd probably be worse off.

I would change the way I acted during my last two years of high school (technically 6th form). That, or I would change the year in which I went to college to last year rather than this year. o:

I'd change a minor mistake I made a couple of months ago that exploded into a ruined relationship and me feeling ashamed of my actions for quite a while.

That's tough considering I think about going back to the past all the time and changing things I wish I never did or could have done differently. If I had to choose one moment though, it would be to stop myself from moving from my old town. Because of that, I missed out my last two years of high school with my friends and in return did it online. I'm pretty sure this one change would affect my life drastically from how it is now, but it's something I wish we never did, because I feel as though I missed out a lot within those two years. ):

Anyway, this seems more OVP material more than it is a discussion. So, let's shift this to Other Voting Polls, shall we?

Another thing is that you would have to do this all by yourself, unless you got the support of others, so I'm not sure if any change could come of this.

Anyhow, there are many small errors in judgement I have made in my life, but I probably would have changed my additude when I was in middle school, I probably could have improved my situation a lot if it wasn't they way it was back then.

I want to go back to 6th grade and change my attitude towards writing assignments because that time was when I started to hate it.

This year I'd change our previous Physics Teacher who just can't teach. If I did maybe I would've had a better chance of passing Physics

I would've started the job search process sooner before my undergraduate graduation so I wouldn't have to suffer through this graduate program I'm in (and continue to run up my student loans :/ )

The Never Live It Down moment of my life, where...

    Err...

I would've protected my older sister. Let's leave it at that. :/

Also, would I be able to remain back in time? Because...

    I would spend more time with my grandparents (Mother-side). I really haven't spend much time with them because I was only a bish at that time. XD;

Honestly, I wouldn't go back much more than maybe three seconds ago. I'm someone who views the past as part of what built who I was, and thus changing the past would inevitably change who I am today. Oh yeah, and those time rips can be preeeetty nasty ;D
