    As for me...

    Charizard
    Pikachu
    Swellow
    Glalie
    Corphish
    Snorlax

    But that's just me. o3o

    Sorry so the below post need to explain

    Charizard Ash's charizard is pure awesome
    Snorlax i love ash's snorlax i dont think it has ever really lost a fight for ash without at least knocking out an opposing pokemon
    Glalie I love the pokemon and Ashs is awesome
    Torterra I just love the pokemon hasnt even appeared in anime in Australia but i think it will be awesome
    Swellow (Ashes was ace)
    donphan i just think it is great

    I believe this team would be good

    Pikachu -> Raichu
    Charizard
    Squritle -> Blastoise
    Gible -> Garchamp
    Heracross
    Torterra
     
    Glalie. Awesome poke....beat a Charizard :D
    Pikachu. Is off and on, but could be useful (Beat regice, lost to meowth)
    Charizard. Pretty great...one of Ash's best. Beat countless other pokes.
    Snorlax. Tough and versatile (won the sumo contest)
    Infernape. Awesome, blaze could help win a battle.
    Sceptile. Great poke, rivals Charizard in strength, tied a Blaziken.

    These types wouldn't be the best, but by anime rules, I would definitely have this team.
     
    I have to elaborate, right? o3o

    Charizard - Has proven that he's bathed in awesome sauce.
    Pikachu - It's Pikachu, doi.
    Swellow - Swellow is immune to Electric attacks. Also, THEY'RE USING THUNDER AS ARMOR! D:
    Glalie - Has been seen to be awesome as well.
    Corphish - The battle with Dome Ace Tucker made me know how epic Corphish is.
    Snorlax - Sturdy, strong, impenetrable fortress.
     
    Staraptor/Noctowl - Staraptor is really powerfull, but Noctowl always seemed to be the smartest of ash's pokemon.
    Tauros - Was able to beat the champion's venusaur at the orange islands.
    Heracross - Allways liked this pokemon, put up a good fight against spencer's venusaur, his battle with Scizor was really epic.
    Sceptile - He's fast and powerfull, was even able to take down an altaria, dispite the type disadvantage
    Charizard - This thing is just plain kick-@#$!
    Kingler - He pwned a trainer in the indigo league all by himself. on his first match.
     
    Is it crazy that I saw the thread name a MILE away when I was going to click into the PKMN anime section? Never mind.

    Pikachu - I don't think I can actually switch him with anyone else, seeing as he's his starter and bff.
    Charizard - It's a good powerhouse. I don't like Infernape anyway. D<
    Snorlax - It can take hits and shoot Hyper Beams and be awesome. Elaboration not needed.
    Gible - If it evolves into a Gabite I'd be impressed.
    Staraptor - Staraptor is a better Pokemon than Pidgeot, with a better moveset. Also it can use Close Combat. <3
    Sceptile - Not only do I love it, it also had this epic battle with a Blaiken in a contest. What I call 'awesome'.

    Anyway I strive to make a balanced team out of all his Pokemon. I think I succeeded...?

    Pikachu (can't remove him!)
    Torterra
    Muk
    Snorlax
    Torkoal
    Squirtle (who would evolve to blastoise)
     
    Pikachu(First pokemon, his thunder attacks will shock the life out of anyone)
    Charizard( One of Ashes strongest Pokemon and has come through for him time and time again with)
    Sceptile (One of ashes strongest grass pokemon)
    Starraptor (After letting Pigeoto go this by far AShes strongest flying type Pokemon)
    Glalie (Strong ice pokemon with power attacks such as ice beam.
    Snorlax (Strong normal types with power attacks attacks such body slam, hyper beam etc)
