If You Had the Power of Deletion...

Day one DLC, microtransactions, DRM, and shoehorned multiplayer. I hated how in Mass Effect 3 you had to play the multiplayer to get the best ending.

And if we're talking about mechanics, like a lot of people said, escort missions. They just suck. Specially in the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon series, the partners were usually weak as hell and would go down very quickly, failing the whole mission.

I know I've said this many times, but I will say it again. Mercenaries 2 World of Flames. So much for the time gap and highly expecting something good, that we end up with this crap. Not many missions, really not a lot to do here. It even makes most of the games mentioned here, good.

I'd get rid of either Sonic 06 or Sonic Unleashed. Do I have to explain why...?
Yes.

Unleashed had the best 3D Sonic gameplay in the Day Sonic levels that served as a base for Sonic Colors and Generations, and Sonic 06 is a so bad its so good situation that spawned the likes of pokecapn's LP, which is more fun to watch than playing Sonic Adventure.

WHY would you want to get rid of them?

Sorry, Fallout 3. I'm gonna have to wipe you off the face of the planet. All hard feelings are intended in this wipe. For clarification, I don't like Fallout 3. It basically took everything that was good with the first two Fallout's and trashed it, just to put more Elder Scrolls mechanics in.

I'm not fond of protecting this person/object missions. I'm fine with protect the castle, or hold the defense line missions, because those are more tolerable. But protecting -insert person- missions can be a huge pain due to how their A.I works, or how everything can take out whatever you're protecting with little to no sweat (looking at you rapha from FFT).

b-b-but Fallout New Vegas.
I agree that Fallout 3 wasn't as good as New Vegas but it's still a fun experience being able to explore the wasteland for the first time in 3D was breathtaking. I'd destroy Call of Dooty the first one so the sequels would never be made. Kill it at the source!

Hmmm...I can think of several, but the first on that comes to mind (and isn't already mentioned here) would be Metroid Other M. The developers made a monkey out of me with that game...it's Metroid, right? It must be good? What's that? Reviewers say it's bad because sexism? Clearly they must be joking...

....and then I played it.
This. Other M utterly destroyed the image of Samus Aran as a strong female protagonist through shoddy voice acting and dialogue so OOC that it was utterly unrecognizable. Coupled with horrific first-person sections (after the Prime trilogy did it so well, too!) and the worst story I have ever seen in a Nintendo game - even no story would have been preferable to this - make Other M an utter disgrace. I cannot describe how much I loathe this game.

Whilst it isn't technically a mechanic persay, I'd love to remove the conception of region locking, as well. That the Wii U and 3DS are both region locked - in this day and age! - really bothers the hell out of me. It serves no practical purpose whatsoever, no matter what justification people want to use.

I like New Vegas, but that alone isn't enough for me to actually want Fallout 3 to still exist. But I will admit that it was nice to venture through the wasteland of Washington in 3D. before it got bland and slightly repetitive
