If you Were a Gym Leader

Electric Gym, 7th badge

level 35 Pikachu
level 37 Luxray
level 38 Lanturn
level 40 Magneton

You get the Tempest badge, and also TM24 Thunderbolt.

And when you rebattle me:

level 57 Pikachu
level 58 Luxray
level 58 Ampharos
level 62 Magnezone
level 60 Electivire
level 61 Lanturn

Actually, I think I'd rather be the the first or second gym leader and have my team be:

Buizel
Squirtle
Mudkip

Cuteness FTW

The Aquarium Gym;
Navigate the surf-maze, surrounded by glass walls filled with Water-Pokémon!

• Cloyster
--Lv.46
• Mantine
--Lv.46
• Kingler
--Lv.47
• Tentacruel
--Lv.49
• Blastoise
--Lv.50

Way back in the early days of the series I was a huge Bug Pokémon fan. I "made up" my own Gym (Rainbow Village Gym) and badge (Beetleshell), and my lineup was predictably mostly bugs (Scyther, Scizor, Pinsir, Venomoth, Heracross) and a Pikachu.

These days, while I still like Bugs, I'm a more devout martial artist, so I tend to have an affinity for Fighting types. I'd probably have something like the Kumite Badge, and have a Heracross, Machamp, Poliwrath, Hitmonchan, Infernape, and either the Pikachu, or a Squirtle taught tough physical TMs named "Ninja".

I'll be an Electric Gym Leader. Probably the 8th. Follow the Minun to get me but trainers will block the path to fight. Eventually Minun will take the challenger to me.

Team:
Electrode
Electabuzz
Magneton
Minun

Whoever beats me will win the Ion badge.

Hmm. I think I'd be the seventh gym leader.
Normal type.
Winner recieves the Neutral Badge.
TM Hyper Beam.

Team:
Tauros
Clefable
Pidgeot
Bibarel

:D Hahaha.

Basically the gym would be a maze going up and down stairs.

Thanks For Asking

Hmmm...I love Bugs, Ghosts, and Ice, and I already have three separate gyms for each type, I think I'll post my favorite, my ghost gym.

8th Gym Leader, Dimitri
Willow Swamp Village
Dusk Badge
TM Shadow Ball

The gym is completely dark, save for a dim candle light on a post in the center of the first room. One may light a candle if they find one in the complete darkness, but doing so will extinguish the previous one, meaning the player must strategically light the candles as lighting a candle will change the positions of the trainers in the current room. The trainers will be blocking certain exits so lighting the candles is necessary.

My gym would be on the ocean floor and require you to use Dive. It would have changing currents that would push you back to the start.

I would have a gym, which is always locked.

I would be the 8th gym leader, and you'd have to find me outside the Sinjoh Ruins, where we'd battle. However, it wouldn't be that easy, as to get to Sinjoh Ruins you have to head east on and incredibly long snow route with deep snowdrifts. And by long, I mean, Hoenn mainland-width long :D No pokemon center either. Hence my gym would be really, quite strong. And the Elite Four would be Johto Elite Four rematch standard :D

So, once you finally reached me, I'd point you in the direction of the cabin, tell you to go rest and come back.

We'd then have an epic 6 vs. 6 battle on the Mystri Stage. My team would be:

[PokeCommunity.com] If you Were a Gym Leader

Lv.10
@ Focus Sash
Protect
Stealth Rock

[PokeCommunity.com] If you Were a Gym Leader

@ Sitrus Berry
Lv.64
Technician

Agility
Baton Pass
Bullet Punch
U-Turn

[PokeCommunity.com] If you Were a Gym Leader

@ Passho Berry
Lv.70
Solid Rock

Rock Wrecker
Earthquake
Thunderpunch
Brick Break

When Scizor passes to that, you're in trouble :D

Especially as with Sandstorm, Passho Berry and monstrous stats, the only thing that can touch it is Grass Knot, Frenzy Plant or Leaf Storm.

[PokeCommunity.com] If you Were a Gym Leader

lv.65
Cloud Nine

Surf
Psychic
Focus Blast
Signal Beam

[PokeCommunity.com] If you Were a Gym Leader

@ Petaya Berry
lv.62

Substitute
Sunny Day
Flamethrower
Solarbeam

Yeah, this'd be easier to kill than Hippopotas...

And finally, just to make things worse:

[PokeCommunity.com] If you Were a Gym Leader

@ Expert Belt
lv.69
Dark Void
Thunderbolt
Dark Pulse
Calm Mind

Pidgeot lvl 42
Fearow lvl 41
Pelipper lvl 40
Noctowl lvl 43
Swellow lvl 44
Staraptor lvl 45

Give out an TM Aerial Ace

I remember discussing layout in a thread asking for it ages ago. I'll copy and paste it here when I find it.

Anyway, I'm a Bug person, but because I like to see the best in people, I'd have:

1. Nincada/Ninjask
2. Scyther/Scizor
3. Beautifly
4. Shuckle
5. Forretress

2nd E4 member or 7th badge. I'd think

Electric:

Luxray Lv. 42
Lanturn Lv. 44
Raichu Lv. 45
Ampheros Lv. 48

Can't really decide what layout/etc it would have.

Instead of type I'd go by color. The color being yellow.

- Ninetales
- Hypno
- Raichu
- Sunflora
- Sandslash

Even if some of them don't seem yellow they're all in the yellow color group

As for layouts I would just make it a simple path leading up to me. I really wouldn't have the drive to make anything fancy. The badge would just be something that is commonly yellow. Maybe the sun, a beam of light, a school bus?

My Gym Would Be The 8th And Hardest Because It Would Be A Mix.I Would Give Out A Badge That Sybolized All The Types Of Pokemon And Would Call It The Mixed Badge.

My Gym Would Be A Plain Gym With A Battle Field That Changes Depending On Which Pokemon I Sent Out.

My Team Would Be

Torterra-->Field Would Be Like A Forest And Have Tall Trees.

Infernape-->Would Be A Valcano With Lava Running Off It And On Top Be The Battle.

Empoleon-->Would Be A Lake With 2 Platforms.

Metagross-->Would Be A Meganetic Field .
