Ignored Pokemon?

Hey, I'm writing a manga type of fanfiction, based off the P.O.V. of three useless, weak pokemon who are looked down upon by three overrated, popular ones that everyone uses. (Charizard, Eevee, etc.)

I'm planning on the main characters being Burmy, Delibird and Relincath.
Would you say these pokemon are highly ignored?
If not, do you have any better suggestions?

Also, do you think Charizard and Eevee are really popular pokemon?
Do you have a suggestion for another third one?

The three big popular Pokémon in fiction, in my opinion: Riolu/Lucario, Eevee, and the starter of whatever region the story takes place in.

I wouldn't say Burmy and Delibird are ignored. Kinda Magikarp famous in a way. They are actually known to be ignored. If you really want Pokémon that are ignored, use Lumineon, Barbarcle, and Glameow. Those are some ignored Pokémon.

But it is your story and your opinion on who's ignored.

Charizard and Eevee are popular, at least where I look. (You have to be popular to make it in Super Smash Bros., at least.) Burmy and Relicanth aren't that common, I'll agree, but Delibird...I don't know, it doesn't seem as obscure. Maybe Dratini or Volbeat/Illumise.

Just like others have said, Burmy and Delibird are actually known for sucking. Relicanth, on the other hand, is indeed forgotten. For Relicanth's partners, I'd look into Pokemon like Swalot, Exploud, and Cherrim.

For popular Pokemon, Charizard is fine, but Eevee seems like a nice guy to me. Maybe Greninja and Lucario could work?
