    hello, pokecommunity user. i am presenting you with perhaps another fun thought experiment!

    SITUATION: Do you know what happens to the evil team lairs whenever the evil team leader gets beaten by a 10-year old kid? They just sit around unused. It's such a huge waste of not only pokedollars, but also a waste of good space and technology. Luckily, since all of the evil henchmen have disbanded and no one seems to be around anymore, you can claim the evil team bases for yourself!

    Ah, but there is a catch, you see. Unfortunately, in the Pokemon World, you can only be in one place at one time. As amazing as it would be to capture all of the evil teams' former bases, you can only really make use of one as your main base of operations.

    Which evil team lair would you take over as your own?

    If all of the warp pads, sliding puzzles, and whatnot can't be removed, then I probably wouldn't bother with a majority of the evil teams' lairs, as it would get old real quick.

    That said, if we could make some adjustments, I would be more than happy to take over Team Galactic's HQ in Veilstone. It's in a great location in the second largest city in the region, which happens to be the best place for commercial business in Sinnoh. I'd honestly have no idea what to do with the building itself, but the sky could basically be the limit.

    Shoutout to Lysandre's Lab underneath Lumiose City, too. It's not Team Flare's main hideout, but having a base of operations at the heart of the region in the largest city in the Pokemon world (gamewise, at least), would be a huge score for whatever you want to use it for.
     
    Using the evil lairs as your own personal hideout is a good idea, but there are also many more options. The lair hangout idea you're thinking of is what I consider to be save-the-game spots. I always save and quit in my favorite area in the specific game. (Ex: Pokemon Let's Go: Seafoam Islands Articuno's Area after capture).

    But if I had to choose an evil hangout I would pick Giovanni's office in the Team Rocket hangout under the Celadon City Game Corner.

    genuinely starting to think that taking over N's castle is probably the best answer to this lmao

    although a close second would be taking over an entire city like Team Skull did.
