Ninetails is basically a wolf right? Right? Right...

Pokémon Go is a great game for friends, family and even strangers to play together but some people do just prefer to go at it alone and go at their own pace. Do you tend to play Go on your own or as part of a group? Do you always play with the same group or do you mix it up? How often have you met new people on your journey whom you have begun travelling with? Would you be comfortable playing on your own at night?

I've played by myself a little, but mostly it's either with my fiancé or a group of friends.

It's mostly always the same people, but I've met some other people I know playing while on downtown adventures, so I guess you could say I mix it up a bit. There's supposed to be a big GO event in town tomorrow; everyone I know is planning on attending, so that should be pretty fun.

As for playing at night by myself... I don't recall wandering further than my neighborhood. I'm not about to go into some sketchy areas alone with my fairly expensive phone out. Probably not the best idea for me, or anyone else really. Play GO responsibly, kids.

I play GO alone, I don't know anyone personally who plays it or even likes it besides a couple of co workers.

Its still good fun but having friends would make it even more enjoyable especially when taking gyms.

I hope they implement battling with others, it would be cool if you're just randomly challenged on the street to a battle. I'm not a fan of the battle system but I'll get used to it I guess.

Personally every time I've gone out to play Go it's always been together with my boyfriend. We always go out around 11 PM unti 2-3 AM and go on wild catching sprees whilst everyone is in bed. It's great for taking gyms and circling around lures without looking silly and there's still a whole load of Pokémon around regardless of the time. It's really peaceful outside at night and the cool night air is really wonderful ♥ I can't imagine wanting to play as much on my own but I would definitely still get out to do it, just perhaps not quite as often as I do now - and especially not in the middle of the night!

I agree about the cool night air, I go for 4 AM runs and I find the air really refreshing without all the cars around.

I usually get off at a train station about a couple suburbs off from my hometown and walk home while playing GO if I'm up for it. I take different routes and I visit areas I wouldn't have looked twice at just to get to a stop.

I notice heaps of people playing on the walk back home too, I'm thinking of going to a park to pop a lure to see if trainers start gathering.

I'd like to play more with my friends, but that's a bit hard atm cause the friends that play the game live a bit far away :/ This evening we're going poke hunting and I'm pretty excited :D

Also I think I'll go to play with my little brother tomorrow if he want's to. Then after that I'm stuck playing alone for a few weeks again :D There are a lot of players though and if there's a lure it's a high chance er around people start to gather around there, but I'm a bit shy so I'm not easily gonna start chatting with strangers.

Good luck tonight! It's cool that this game is letting families bond like that, do you and your brother do stuff like this together often? Good luck with the lures too - meeting people can be scary but as long as it isn't the middle of the night or something you'll probably meet some cool people to make friends with :D

I mostly play alone, and honestly it's pretty fun. I have one other friend that I play Pokemon GO alongside of and we usually play GO when we get out of work or when we share days off. Though I will play it on my own during any hour of the morning, day, or night, and I have been out and about in the middle of my town by myself just wandering around playing GO for hours at a time.
Generally whenever I bump into GO players that are wandering around by themselves like I am, I will actually go out of my way to talk with them, share tips and tricks, and if they're on my team I'll ask them if they want to come gym raid with me.

Before Pokemon GO, I walk everywhere regardless due to my my job and my home location (and that I don't really enjoy driving anywhere), plus the town I live in is a resort town where everything is close together and designed to attract tourists in. Being in the middle of my town at 1-2 in the morning is not that abnormal for me to begin with, plus the town as a whole is incredibly quiet and safe. Crime is uncommon and the streets are either completely empty or filled with gentle bar hoppers.
Now that pokemon GO is around, I as well as many others have more reasons to safely travel the streets at the incredibly late hours of night. Playing it alone in the dark along unlit streets is just really not that intimidating or worrisome, and I often prefer it.

I could play on my own during the day, but when it's at night, I gotta be with people. It's just that I don't feel comfortable playing Pokemon Go by myself during the night, especially with how dangerous Houston gets during the night.

Yeah we do stuff together when possible :D I live on my own and in a different city so it's not as often as it used to be. But we still play online on PS4 sometimes which is fun :) Also the last nights Poke hunt went quite well :D Got 6 new pokemons (I think).

I've typically been playing with my girlfriend and/or a group of friends. However now she's on holiday I've been left mostly on my own but I've played occasionally with my friends, I love hunting Pokemon in a group of people but there's also something relaxing about walking my dog across the fields on my own and catching Pokemon :)

I've spent most of my times going out with groups of friends, though plenty has also been spent playing alone (had a little wander this morning). I've even done a few road trips with friends where we've travelled to other towns searching for Pokémon which have been thoroughly enjoyable.
