3rd Gen Im needing help on something that i should know :(

Ok...im playin emerald...just got HM surf...and realised i didnt have a pokemon to teach it 2 haha! so im stuck...and all i have is the old rod...which only knocks out magicarps >.< ...so...where do i get the good and super rod from?

Please help...im a lost little lame boy :(

I think Makuhita, Zigzagoon, Linoone, and others can learn Surf, even if they're not the water type. You can't get the Super Rod until you get to Mosdeep, so I suggest catching one of those.
I'm not very sure, but I think Marrill appears on grass, route 117. =D

You can trade them from Fire Red/Leaf Green.
