    Hey, like the title says, I'm new to the site. Don't know how I missed this place for so long.

    I'm pretty Pokemon obsessed sometimes so I'll probably be hanging around a lot. I've been playing since the old red and blue days, and I guess I've been a core gamer since my dad handed me a controller when I was two.

    I've also been programming for a while, and of course hacking comes with the territory. Actually I'm well on the road to an internship at Blizzard, I want to program GUIs one day fairly soon. I'd have liked to work at gamefreak at one point, but they've been a bit disappointing from the programming standpoint in recent years...

    Some of you may know me as the designer/programmer/sprite artist on such hack as: H@X0R5 Revenge (FFTA Hack), Digital Demons (Link's Awakening Hack), or Kirby's Konkwest (Animorphs Hack). Or maybe not, not many people play my stuff. I don't even remember where I uploaded the ips patches anymore. What I'm working on now is my first attempt at a Pokemon hack.

    Oh, I roleplay as well (hit me up, anytime. I'm always willing to play, especially if you are literate and don't mind that I get a bit creative with plots and such at times), and write fanfiction (none of which you will see here, because I tend to get violent or otherwise non-pg13).

    Honestly, I don't know HOW I've managed not to run into this site before. It seems so... Awesome. ^^
     
    You know, I wonder myself that many many times. I found this place *relatively* late, but hey, you're here now. Time to have a blast, right? :D Roleplaying, hacking, you'll fit in easily. :D

    Rules are already read and all that, you'll not likely see any erratic spontaneous noobish rule-bending from me. Enjoy I shall, or intend to at the very least.

    And what a nice welcome, BeachBoy, not often you get a 'hello' from a mod that's more than copy/paste pseudo-pleasantry. ^^ You're icon is bugging me though, I can't place it but it seems to be made of win. I hate when I can't remember where I've seen something cool. D=
     
    The title of this thread seemed demanding so I thought I'd be a good little m and post.
    If you ever do find those hack you made be sure to post them here. I'm sure they'll be played by many more people if you did. =D

    It's nice to have such an accomplished member join the forums! I wish you the best of luck at your internship with Blizzard! (That should be exciting =P)

    Anyway, I can tell you'll absolutely love it here. Better late than never I always say...(I wish I would have joined a couple of years ago =/). I'm sure PC will more than live up to it's reputation. We have tons of RPGs to choose from, and you've probably had a look at Emulation already ^_^

    If my PC History is correct, this is particular forum is actually an upgrade from one created way back. This particular community seems to have been here for quite some time, and I myself wish I would have joined it even sooner than I did.
    (But alas, we can't change the past, can we? :/)

    Wow, that was quite the impressive introduction you made there, Konkat. It was quite the pleasure to read, I should thank you.
    (Not everyone goes into such detail when introducting themselves, you know?)

    Programming and hacking. I have definitely been there.
    I'm sure you will come to find that the ROM Hacking section here at the Pokecommunity is quite large. There are certainly a few people who enjoy making their own games or developing software to help people who aren't so good at technology realize their hacking dreams. I do hope you will enjoy it there.

    I'm sure they would be very happy to have you over in the two roleplaying sections. Who wouldn't enjoy your apparent literary qualities? ;D

    Well, it seems that you are hitting it off around this place pretty well already. Perhaps my welcome comes a little late, but as it has already been stated, better late than neve, eh?

    (Oh, and I wouldn't expect Beachboy's posts to ever be copy and pasted. It's against the rules to do so in this particular section... I don't quite see the resident moderator doing it. xD)
