I'm pretty much done with PC...

I've been here for a year, and most people have forgotten me, I learned to get over it, since I had better tricks. My life is actually something I have to worry about.

Oh, my post wasn't directed toward anyone in particular, Dakota. I just hear some of the older members expressing their discontent with the newer members some of the time, and I thought that this would be as good a venue as any to say that not all of us are bad as we're sometimes made up to be...I'm trying to find a way to fit in with the veterans, and it's just a slow process for me to get acclimated to them and for them to get acclimated to me and some of the other more active non-vets.
I agree with what you said Kaga. But then there are those *other* newbies that immediately form cliques with other newbies and basically ignore older members like me until they want me to move/lock a thread. It seems to me that a lot of newer members are taking us for granted or only use us as tools to get what they want. This isolationism is what makes older members like me, andy, and Dakota feel left out. I've even comtemplated leaving myself, before realizing how much responsibility I had here as a moderator. There are good newbies like you Kaga, and Castrainer. Who don't spend half of their posts asking how the community works/asking a mod to close a thread/spamming, and the other half asking just any random member if they'd be their friend. Members like this annoy the heck out of me.

Don't you just hate that, they ignore me too, and that's what pisses me off, and then I start to SPAM on PC and then the downfall has been plotted...Oops! I just let my secret _normal_ member plan out ^_^

You lost the interest too? I also did... it's really not the place it once was, I don't even know why I bother even coming on to here. Maybe if it was back in the day, i'd be here but now PC is just, not fun.
do you know why???
cause it's become such a habit that you can't stop

Actually I could stop if I wanted too, I just never have. I don't really need PC, I've come this far without it, so whats the need for it again? Ever since certain members started joining (whose names WILL be disclosed later in my posts) I knew PC would just not be the same place.

I understand what you're saying, tmbjr. I've seen sort of an infestation of newbies/n00bs here who don't really contribute to anything and have no respect for the veterans, and I'm sure that must be frustrating for people who have been here a long time, especially if fellow veterans leave; then what's a person's reason for coming if they've lost the respect they once garnered as well as many of their friends? I just hope not everyone feels like they need to leave, or else PC loses a bit of its identity with every vet who leaves, but yes, it must make many of the vets feel bad to see how the majority of new people here are...

Most people could stop when they want to its just a thing of mind over matter. Allthough I dont feel like I need to stop going here just yet...maybe in a year or so

Newbies always do that -_-...No respect for any veteran (well some do, but not all) Like I was telling Tommy online, If I lived PC i wouldnt put up with much Bull****, because my real life attitude and PC ones are so much different.

What? Your nice in real life? Though I guess you can get mad at the newbiis sometimes it's eaiser and a lot better then saying that the pc is starting to die

Nahh I'm nice on PC though, PC is decling yes it is, and it will NEVER be the same. What steps can we take to preserve its state? Nothing, just let it become Newbie Haven...

Ya, then we can all come back in a year or so and find out that the veterans of tomarrow are todays newbiis? I should have made a account here ealier then I did. I found this place last summer...dumb me I guess?

Now, I don't think I'd be that down about it...all I can recommend is ignore the bad newbies and welcome the new ones. Today's newbies are tomorrow's vets after all...I daresay we're cultivating an acceptable batch of future vets at this point in time, at least I hope we are...

Love stealing my thunder dont you? Guess it's true we have to make room for the new kids...but hey I'll be a vet some day i hope...so will Kaga

Not everyone on PC has enough firmness as others. The newbies will continue to ignore you, than when they uprise, THEY WILL PUSH YOU AROUND, because you let them do this to you... Them forming little groups may be okay, but impudance shouldn't anyone allow.

i've seen generations after generations go by
for instance
i was in the very 1st pc
and then lightning and other people started coming and i thought they were n00bs but look at them now they're mods
do u see?
i know from experience
i consider every single one of you as n00bs well it's probably cause the fact that i'm the oldest member alive
but then look at you guys
you guys are all maturing
you guys are prolly sick of pc because you've had too much of it
take a break
enjoy the sunshine and go out for a swim or something

Ya but with mods leaving they are letting this place die. Really some of the stronger mods leaving means that more spamy newbiis will be able to come in and take over....but theres allways IP ban...that doesnt work in some case though

Stealing your thunder? Did you say that already or something, sorry if I missed that XP
Never known you to not read a post...so...really nothing left to say only that if you get tired go out have fun enjoy life for a while...when your done come back...i take every sunday off the internet becuse i need a day of rest...

I try to read posts, I have a bad habit of reading too quickly sometimes though o_o;; I suppose I skipped a couple of lines in an attempt to keep on top of replying, sorry about that ._.

It's not just noobs, it's *most* younger people in general. I hate having little 10 year olds snap at me for saying freakin' or having a site that offends them. I expect some respect for being nearly a decade older than some of the members here. Atleast Abskull is one of the few younger members who seems decent.
