'cause I love stalking other people's conversations loool.

Kay, we have a thread discussing whether B/W should've had evolutions/pre-evolutions for previous generation Pokemon, but not one for Black and White Pokemon specifically and their evolution lines.

Do any Unova Pokemon need evolutions (that don't have any) in your opinion? If so, which ones and why? If you want, you can also discuss the potential evolutions here too. Do you think some evolutions aren't necessary? Again, if so, which ones? On that note, too, how do you feel about the fact that a pretty large portion of Unova Pokemon do have evolutionary lines? As for the current evolutions, could you swap any with others as far as evolutions go? Share your thoughts regarding Unova's evolutionary lines!

Tryyyyy not to discuss the designs here, 'cause we have a thread mainly for the overall designs, thoughts, etc.

Liepard needs an evolution, it bothers me so much that it doesn't have one. Purrloin is the cat equivalent to Lillipup in the beginning, and because you'll probably catch one or the other, they should be similar in evolutionary lines. >:/

I was shocked when I found out Musharna didn't evolve. I was expecting it to have a really tough to beat [in-game] final evolution that looked like an Elephant, Munna, while cute, never found a spot on my team because of this very reason. Nintendo should be ashamed of themselves for letting Musharna stay as is. >:/

If you evolve Petilil into a dragon, I will come to your house and Razor Leaf the crap out of you.

Anyway, uhhh. I think there should have been an electric monkey, but oh well, that's what trios are for right? That's not an evo, what am I saying... I agree with Toujours though. Liepard needs an evo...that doesn't suck. :D

I think Audino, Whimsicott, Basculin and Maractus should have evovles :S

Why those Pokemon? What kind of evolutions are you looking for? Would Lilligant get an evolution as well to match Whimsicott? Would the evolutions of Basculin still have different forms? Would an Audino evolution give omgmostexperienceever?

    Elaborate please :)

Audino could evolve into something stronger, and Throh and Sawk have to be releated somehow. Perhaps Klinklang can evolve and introduce the first 3rd stage Pokemon? But all the others don't need any evolutions, I think. We'll see! :D

The generation is good as it is. Although I'd like it if Lilligant can evolve. I am not that fond of Lv1 evolutions unless they are powerful enough, like Zoroark or Lucario.

Audino could evovle to something more stronger just like chansey evolved to blissy. Audino is the only healing pokemon that doesn't evolve.

Heatmor and Durant? Pre-evos only, they're pretty tough. Particularly Durant in-game. Made levelling up my Frillish ridiculously hard. But I could definitely see a pre-evo for Durant. After all, Durant's pokédex entry says "They attack in groups, covering themselves in steel armor to protect themselves from Heatmor." (Which ironically doubles their weakness). This could imply that they evolved from a pure Bug-type?

Liepard did need an evolution, as has been said before me. It just sucks too much.
However, I disagree with Whimsicott and Lilligant needing an evolution. I've used Whimsicott, It's a beast, and I'm currently using Lilligant, and it doesn't seem too bad so far.
I believe Heatmor could use a prevo. It just has so much potential for a good one.
I think that Larvesta and Volcarona's evolutions should have been handled a bit differently. Their movesets are completely different, and it evolves at the ridiculously high level of 59.

I think the Deino/Zweilous/Hydreigon evo chain should have been handled in the same way the Dragonite and Tyranitar chains were. That is, Deino evolving at level 30, and Zweilous evolving at level 55. I think evolving at level 50, and then level 64 is much too high. Level 64 means Zweilous won't evolve until well into the post-game if you have it at around level 50 when you fight the E4 for the first time.

As far as adding evolutions, I think Stunfisk should evolve. First of all, I think Stunfisk is underrated because of its appearance, and though it is a "derp" Pokemon, it's actually not bad in battle, due to its decent defensive and special attack stats. Anyway, as far as an evolution, I would think perhaps a large, electrified mud-skipper, which is a fish that can go on land. Perhaps a name like "Stunskip". I honestly believe that we may see an evo for Stunfisk in future generations.

Also, the Woobat/Swoobat chain seems to me like a Unova equivalent of Zubat/Golbat/Crobat. Therefore, I think they should match in the number of evolutions. Swoobat's base stats are somewhat low, and to me are just begging for an evolution. Perhaps its evolution would be similar to Crobat in the sense that it is much more quick and agile. Also, since Woobat evolves through happiness, I would think Swoobat would evolve through the use of a newly-introduced evolutionary stone in a future generation, similar to the fact that they introduced new stones in Generation IV.

Alamolamola could have used an evolution. Same with Durrant. And, in my opinion, a new eveelution could have been made.

Hahahaha a Stunfisk evolution would be ugly, but! Either they go with "oh let's keep it as it is, since it's become a meme" or on the off chance that game freak does care about Stunfisk, they'll give it an evolution to throw the heat off it.

Nooooo, Swoobat and Woobat are perfect as they are. But if they MUST evolve, maybe a new method and not a stone, 'cause I don't like the idea of bats evolving via stones.

Audino could evovle to something more stronger just like chansey evolved to blissy. Audino is the only healing pokemon that doesn't evolve.

Sadly, I see that happening in future games. Tbh Audino is fine on its own. :( But no doubt you'll probably be right, lol.

Petilil > Crimgan tbh, totally logical.

    Musharna seems perfectly strong to me, tho. I don't see why it should be made uglier ;__;

Yeees, agreed. I don't really know why they didn't make an evolution for it tbh, maybe lack of ideas design-wise? Though if anything, I'd see it as a third evolution with something in the middle, when you consider Stoutland's size. :x

Also, bear in mind that Munna evolves into Musharna with a Moon Stone. So far, every Pokemon that evolves with an evolutionary stone evolves into a final form. Therefore, I don't believe Musharna will ever get an evolution. If anything, Munna might get a branched evolution, in my opinion, and evolve into a different Pokemon by a different method.

Ooh, that's an interesting observation. But what would it branch into that would make it different? Maybe a Psychic/Dark Nightmare Munna kind of thing...

I think Deerling should have a branched evolution, maybe into something a bit more feminine, kind of like Kirlia, only evolving into the certain Pokémon by a certain gender.

I think that each of Basculin's forms deserves an evolved form. Sure, its stats are decent, but I think the red Basculin can evolve into something that has higher Attack, but lower Special Attack and Speed, while the blue Basculin has an evolved form with higher Special Attack and Speed.

Also, Emolga might need an evolved form since its offenses are pretty meh.

Scrafty could have a nice evolution with event better stats. It's unlikely, but who expected Rhyhorn to get a evo?

Also Emolga needs a evolution in order for it to be useful at all.
