The earliest console I have is a GBC. It was a huge deal for me to get that because my parents were decidedly anti-video games before then. :( So I never got to play the original Gameboy or (S)NES aside from when I'd be at friends or family's houses.

I still hold a bit of a grudge against my parents from when they wouldn't buy our neighbour's SNES from their garage sale for $15 with all their games. That was well over a decade ago. :P

It's weird to think back on, too, since now my parents are totally okay with it. (When I got my first job, my mom really insisted I spend my first paycheque on a 360, haha.)

I think the earliest console that I still have is also a GBC. I definitely had a Game Boy Pocket but I'm pretty sure that was thrown away at some point in my youth. The GBC, however, is definitely in the attic of my parents house somewhere, gathering dust with probably a crappy Wario game in the slot getting all corrupted. Fun times! :D

I used to have the best Wario game for my GBC. I don't know if there's more than one but god did I love it. I can barely remember much about it other than it kinda-ish resembled the older SMWs xD

My oldest console is a Game-Boy. One of those old huge things xD My cousin gave it to me. It's in Lebanon though, haven't seen it in a while now.

I don't have the Gameboy, but I do have a Yellow coloured Gameboy Colour. Still have it, and it still works.

My oldest handheld was the gameboy pocket :3 Ah how I loved it so! My only qualm was that I couldn't play Link's Awakening DX on it!

My first handheld console I ever got was the Gameboy, then I got the color and the advanced then the SP then the original DS and now I got the DSlite, hoping to get 3DS soon.

I played my first Pokemon games on the original Game Boy. Lol, taking me way back xD Then I got a GBC with Pokemon Yellow and it was amazing <3

Original gameboy was my first handheld, and I still have a SNES hooked up in my living room, to a CRT monitor I bought specifically to use with it. Retro consoles really benefit from being played on a CRT with pixel bleeding and motion artifacting, that and response time is far better. adds so much more charm.

I spent most of yesterday playing the original Castlevania, and it's still a brilliant game.

I was and am still such a Nintendo fangirl. I owned a GBC, GBASP, DS, DS lite, and 3DS, and then I also owned an NES, SNES, N64, GC, and Wii. I don't even particularly want the Wii U but I expect to pick it up because I've own ALL OTHER SYSTEMS EVER.

Ahah yes I am also a gigantic nintendo fangirl; I have all the consoles and around 150 Nes/Snes titles.

Actually I have 3 SPs; A tribal one, and the limited edition 'classic' one, and the limited edition zelda triforce one.

Last week I replaced the internal batteries on Yellow, Red, Blue, Gold, Silver and Crystal.
