I don't know if other users are having this issue, but due to the recent (although lovely) update that automatically embeds YouTube videos within a post, I seem to be unable to link to a YouTube video by using text only (like how you can normally link to other non-YouTube webpages). Is there a way to bypass the auto-embedding of YouTube videos? Thanks in advance.

And maybe Twitch URLs do this as well..? Not sure.. :x

    The [noparse]youtube link[/noparse] tags work.

I've also found that the Share link YouTube provides you with (the one with the shortened URL) will also work to bypass this feature.

As stated in this thread, though, they're working on fixing this issue.

Though the problem's solved, I'll just state another method if you find this one convenient.

If you put a blank BBCode ([B][/B]) in the middle of the link like so:

http:/[B][/B]/www.youtube.com/watch?v=ultimatevideoidlol, you can break the autoparse.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ultimatevideoidlol

I find this one the easiest.
