    Hey everyone,

    I'm Dox. 18 year old guy just finishing up HS.

    I've been playing Pokemon since I was in the second grade, when I got Ruby. I've since moved on to playing all the other games, barring X/Y (that will change when I finally shell out the $$ for a 2DS), and loved them all. I've done casual playthroughs on and off through high school, particularly of Gold, but a couple of weeks ago I found the hacks AshGray and Red Adventures, and I've been hooked again. This summer I feel I'll likely play through most (if not all) of the ones I own + lots of ROM hacks before I go away to college.

    I might try my hand at ROM hacking as well. I'm on a Mac, so running these programs is horrifyingly difficult (you can only really run one at a time through Wine), but I'm learning AdvanceMap/PKSV right now, and maybe I'll be able to get a rudimentary start to some sort of Orange Islands game or something.

    Anyway, nice to meet you all! I look forward to delving back into the world of Pokemon through this community.
     
    Hiiii there Dox! Yeah, our ROM Hacks are pretty popular with good reason, as they're pretty fun to play! So I' glad you're enjoying them, and remember that if you wanna try your hand at ROM Hacking, you're more than welcome to visit our ROM Hacking board for all of our tutorials and such on ROM hacking. But yeah, suuuper fab to meet another pokemon fan~ <33

    Hi Dox and welcome to pc(: if you're into ROM Hacking, you should definitely check out that section. i'm sure you can get lots of help there. Also, i hope you get a 2ds. the newer pokemon games are great. if you need any help or just a friend, leave me a vm.
     
    Macs are love but those sorts of program issues can be a bother. :( I love mine but really wish more things were available on it. Yay for Windows partitions, though? Welcome to PC, Dox! ♥

    Yeah, we do have great hacks here and they attract a lot of members to join. It's why I found the forum myself years back haha though branching out's also very worth it with how much we have to discuss here. Hope you'll love the forum as much as we do! Have a blast and see you around.
