    Hello PokeCommunity(:

    Hello everyone! I'm happy to announce that I have officially decided to join the PokeCommunity!
    Basically, I am new to Rom Hacking. I would love to learn more in the hopes to one day make my own Pokemon Hack.
    My scripting skills are very basic, limited to simple commands such as; Making NPC's show a message when interacted with, Allowing NPC's to give the player an item or Pokemon, and Showing yes or no questions when interacted with. I would really appreciate some help with scripting. I have the basis of a storyline created but it is not complete yet. If anyone would help me it would be greatly appreciated. I am not so great with sprite creating, but I would love to become better at it. I'm at the bottom of the chain and want to make my way to the top.

    Hey there Raven, welcome to the forum! Good to meet you, I'm Cirno. :3

    The Emulation section is where all hack-related discussions belong, so I recommend dropping by there sometime. You'll learn a lot about hacking over at Emulation; the helpful members created a lot of tools and tutorials for aspiring hackers to use! There's also a Script Help thread if you're ever needing some script assistance on top of many other things. If you're dedicated enough, you'll be on your way to making a good hack in no time~ just takes some patience, so don't give up! :D

    Is there anything else you want to do besides hacking? PC is pretty big so there are a lot of places to post in, and it'd be great if you could stick around and be active. ^^ The more the merrier! Hope you enjoy your stay regardless of what it is you want to do here or how often you check back!

    I'm afraid, for now at least, I am stuck with Gen 3 games(Which is not a problem), I will soon be getting a new DS, and a copy of 2 of my favorite versions; HeartGold & SoulSilver.
    I will definitely be lurking around the Emulation section. Soon though, I would love to jump into WiFi battling.

    Hello TheRaven, and welcome to PC.

    I love that cute avatar you have, is Umbreon your fave Pokemon by any chance? I do like the Eeveelutions but I'm more of a Glaceon person (I just love that blue color), but my serious fave is Oshawott.

    And yes, glad you joined if you were looking for hacks cos that's basically what our most popular board is. Our Emulation board has everything you need to know, along with tools and resources you can use. Nice to hear you're getting HeartGold and SoulSilver, they were such great games. I played SoulSilver and it was awesome! (However I prefer 5th Generation better cos of the graphics)

    Sadly, I can't help you cos I'm terrible at ROM hacking but you'll find some people who can help you. Feel free to browse some of our other sections too, sometimes they can be just as fun as the hacks themselves!

    Haha, thanks Hikari. I'm glad to see that this Forum has such welcoming members within it's community!
    Other forums I've been involved with seemed a bit "cold" if you know what I mean. Yes! Umbreon is my favorite. I remember when I got my first after long hours of making Eevee happy, I actually got an Espeon first because It happened when it was daytime. I will be getting Black/White and Black/White 2 very soon after I get HG/SS just because I'm curious about the 5th Gen Pokemon and the great storyline I've heard about. Maybe we could trade when I get some good Pokemon together.
    Hopefully we can talk more, Like I said in the "Hangout" thread, I love meeting new people.

    Hey Raven im new to. So weird calling someone Raven other than myself, wondering what im talking about? Raven is what I've always called myself online but i went with a new name this time. It seems we also share the common intrest of Umbreon as our favourite Pokemon eh? We have alot in common PM me! :)
