Hello, I'm Snowy, and I'm autistic. My special interests are Fire Emblem and Pokémon.

I'm 34 and I've played Pokémon since the days of the Red and Blue versions. My first Pokémon was a Charmander, so I have a soft spot for it.

My other favorite Pokémon are Mimikyu, Aegislash, Solosis, and Greavard (I seem to gravitate towards ghost types).

It is great to see more long time fans of Pokémon (like me ^^) join PokéCommunity. I started with Red and Blue too! And I also picked Charmander. Charizard has since been my top favourite Pokémon! Ghost type Pokémon are neat indeed, they have a mystical, mysterious feel!

I love Platinum, ORAS, and Scarlet/Violet in the main series. My favorite spinoff is Pokémon Colosseum, mainly because Wes is my favorite Pokémon protagonist.

I like to complete the Pokédex! Collecting Pokémon is my favorite part of the game. Every new generation is very exciting to me because I want to discover the new Pokémon!

Awesome to hear we've got another Dex completer around the site! One of the things that I really wished Gen 9 had was a story path related to catching Pokemon, since it felt like it would've fit with the whole 'school theme' they were going for, but sadly nope...

I nickname all of my Pokémon! I name them in a few different ways - based on aesthetic, on a character from another game, or by species.

Neat! I like to nickname mine as well! I had a Serperior called Vyper, a Zapdos called Rayden, a fakémon (Delta Charizard, from the Insurgence fan game) called Shadowyrm!

I have an Aegislash named Araial after my original character, who is a knight. I also name all of my Charmander "Charmer" after my very first Charmander.

I like to match Pokéballs to either the Pokémon themselves or to their shiny form if I intend to breed them.

Then it would seem we hunt the same way. Awesome!

What was your hardest catch? Mine was the Solgaleo you can get from the Gen 9 DLC. I wanted to (and did lol) catch it in a Beast Ball. Which even when it had it's health at 1 and was also asleep, the catch chance was only 1.26%! Not to mention I only had 2 Beast Balls at the time, so whenever thy both failed, I had to reset... And to add further annoyance, it knew 2 moves that did recoil damage, so every turn when I actually had a shot to catch it, there was a 50% chance it just killed itself lol. Super worth the hassle in the end, though.

It's cool to see another Fire Emblem fan around too! :) I'm a big fan of the newer games (Mainly Fates, Awakening and Engage)

I've played every FE since they arrived in the U.S. except Radiant Dawn (which I do own). I'm also playing through an English translation of Binding Blade. That being said, I have a soft spot for Awakening.
