Original scan:



Theme: Kagome under Naraku's mind-control.

History: Started and abandoned in October 2006. Original intention was to also include Naraku, Kanna, Byakuya or Kagura, all together in this picture with Naraku's castle as the background. However, due to the extensive knowledge required, fatigue, lack of time, and most importantly my mood swings (the longer I waited, the less I wanted to continue and finished), this was all that was done. Therefore this picture/project was properly identified as abandoned.

Why her clothing is so ugly: You don't want to know. Well, I'll tell you some reasons. I thought clothing was too easy to draw and it was too easy to just cover up Kagome, and much more challenging to make her look good with less cloth on. Another reason being I have no ideas for what to fashion her with.

Why her bra is so stupid: You don't want to know. I'll make it better next time. Supposedly, these are magical clip-ons, lol.

Sorry about the rough legs too.

Kanna from Inuyasha (finally got scanner again ^^):



Actually, I thought of Kanna in that position ever since last October. She was suppose to be in her Kimono, and in the background of my Kagome picture, with her mirror on the floor. That's the only reason save randomness that she's in this position now. But in place of her normal outfit and expresionless face: A smile and a simple outfit to flatter her fi-.... :x um yeah.

Hint: Stare/focus at her face to feel pleasure. She is saying..... "Hey! I am your friend!" (kidding, I made that up just now XD)



Crazy cute girl I saw in the library, on a lab computer:



.............................................................. Unfortunately or not, I never saw her again after that day. Too bad, I really would've spilled my admiration to her ;D

lol Really? I told my sister to adjust the darkness on that one. She just went ahead and adjusted the shadows and made that final scan.

The Tifa one's a really big idea, so I have no idea how long it'd take me. :\ I'm goin to draw her showering under a waterfall OR bathing at a hot spring. This is all for a request, as I said, but I'll get it scanned before giving the pic. XD Eh.. I'll make it appropriate for the PC audience of course. u_u; It seems everybody was too freaked out to reply to my Kagome drawing already (except you)... but whatever, their responses aren't my primary concern. XD

I suppose you have a point there... the hair similiarity. The anger. But everything else, Kagome is just 100 000 000 000 years/levels above Misty.

And since my Kagome hasn't been deleted yet, I think I'll do alright making TIfa appropriate too. :P

And yeah, my sister was pretty confident when moving the shadows slider too. I was surprised by her talent for seeing through how to use my scanner best.

Oh no, it's always a bad idea to tamper with a dead project. It will corrupt the original no matter what. XD

And yeah, but if I draw the water really good, I can make it splash near her breasts and cover them. =x

And I hate Tifa, I would drawn Yuffie or Aeris instead if only the friend I'm drawing her for didn't request Tifa. :P

lol The theme plan had let me free on dressing up Kagome however I want, but yeah, I didn't have time to give it the amount of thought it needed...

I don't know, maybe because I draw too slowly, and get tired of the constant hyper straineous brain work that I abandon a lot of my art works... also, the background is just never as interesting as the person to me. It's mostly a motivation thing. It's the ideas of Kagome that interested me, not the background, etc, etc.

Well the Kagome portion (my interest) is pretty much finished. My mood has changed to much for me to continue on the project... so next up, still Inuyasha. XD Eh... haven't started on that yet though.

I personally prefer the midtone and darker scan rather than the original. The midtone reviels the colors better than the original, and the darker scan is done well with the shadow.

I have art with lame efforts put into them too, but they aren't really worth showing you guys because, well, no point or meaning. XD;

For some reason, I very muchly like how Kanna came out. The fi-+kidnapped+.
And yes, Kagome's body makes me drool. I wish I have all that.

Anyways, you didn't do a bad job with these pictures. You're pretty good. You do the bodies and faces nicely and delicately in a rough kind of way. Do you use references by any chance?
Good job memorizing the cute girl you like. I agree that shading with mechanical pencil may release something that may look awfully terrorizing, but it does serve an interesting purpose for shading, eh?

Yeah, I used references to make sure Kagome's body was proper size and shape and that nothing went out of proportion. The pose, ideas, and details were created by me, though.

For Kanna I used like 5 or 6 references to make sure her hair wasn't totally what it's not suppose to be, as well as the flower on her head and her eyes. From the neck down though, I had to imagine everything up. It took some trial and error to get an OK-looking result. ^^;

As for that cute girl...I didn't actually memorized her. I had a digital camera picture, but it was rather small and blurry, but just enough for me to isolate enough beauty and appeal to make a large drawing out of XD
