I met the invisible shiny bulbasaur glitch, but at route 222. It was lvl 0, male, nameless, shiny, had a bulbasaur call and footprint, its shadow was off-center, and the sprite was a giant white holey square. Out of curiosity, I caught it with a masterball from AR, and it takes up a permanent slot in my party. It can't battle, and I can't store it in my box. Also, whenever I try to check my party, the screen turns black and the game freezes, so I can't even do something as simple as flying to another town. Worst part, I saved the game right after catching (and before finding out the negative effect it would have).

Has anyone ever encountered this glitch before? And if so, is there a way to get rid of it?

Alternatively, is there a cheat that can delete individual save files (e.g. you were at Pastoria, you fly to Solaceon and save, the cheat deletes your newest save file so you're back at Pastoria)?

Nope, don't think there is a way, but that's your own fault for using AR and catching it! That's why you gotta be careful with AR.

Yeah...You can't delete files that way...

This is why AR is bad...

I used to use AR all the time and never encountered this but I did encounter invisable shinys but never caught them.

Alright, thanks anyway. I've definitely learned my lesson with AR. Now I'll just have to restart the game.

At least now, anyone who encounters a similar glitch can know it's not a very good idea to catch it.

You had the choice to post this in the Sinnoh Travel Journal or the Glitch Thread. In the future, please utilize those threads.
