In the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon games, IQ was a mechanic built into each Pokémon. It was basically PMD's equivalent of happiness, which you would have to get your Pokémon high enough (like Golbat, Chansey and most baby Pokémon) to evolve. In the first Mystery Dungeon games, each Pokémon had the same IQ skills, so everything was able to get stuff like Trap Seer and Super Mobile if you got their IQ high enough, so you could basically use any Pokémon you wanted and it wouldn't make much of a difference. But in the Explorers games, certain Pokémon were in different IQ groups and they learned different skills. Not only that, but in some of the bigger dungeons like the Zero Isles, opponents would have higher IQ than normal and would have various skills.
Were there any IQ groups in Explorers that you primarily liked to use certain Pokémon from? Any that you tended to not like as much? Discuss.
