IRC-Chatroom Feedback and Support

The "Chat" menu in the forum broke during the server move.
However, you can still access the chat, either via the Java Applet on *pokemonpalace link removed*, or by a standalone IRC application, like mIRC.
 
He means that another way of accessing the chat would be through the Java Applet on PPN (the website, link provided above.)

Otherwise another option would be installing a client like mIRC or XChat to allow you access to the channel.
 
someone on the chat room was saying that i was a boy and not a girl and i got mad and said i was a girl and they kicked me out and i cant get back in can you do something about that please
 
When in a chatroom you are liable to face any kind of treatment. Good or bad, either way your rights are put aside as you enter it, as the channel is governed under the will of the Operators and the Half-operators, since they run the channel. If you dislike it, then you can simply refrain from going back in, or perhaps do so and try showing better co-operation with the rest of the users.
 
Hrmm...I have a problem.


I changed my nickname to "Se7en" and it banned me from the entire chat. I can't get in at all now.


There was an error message, saying that I'm a "Se7enbot Spambot"...but that's just the nickname I chose...

can someone help me? =/
 
Have you tried logging back on to the chatroom? Because according to my logs, your quit message seemed normal. Normally it would differ if you've been banned in any way possible.

My advice would be to try it again.
 
I'll ask one of the admins about it.. I see that you got back in with your PC username, I'd suggest u use that..
 
IRC actually has nothing to do with the forums regarding ban policies.

I'm not sure who set the ban, however your welcome to question the AOP or SOP who set the original ban. Unfortunately ban reasons can't be set in the chat channel.

i didn't get banned in the forums i got banned in the chat when ever i try to enter it says "cannot join pokecommunity (+b)"

Obviously Scizz was in his mood. He did the same to me a little while ago and it's permanent. They have to keep things in order there, so they ban the spammers/trolls/flamers/flooders.

I'd suggest PMing Scizz and asking him yourself about everything, but he said once himself he hates pms.

If I were you I'd think twice before accusing Scizz again. Don't let your bitter differences and grudges get in the way of what conclusion may arise to this matter. It's also recommended that you leave queries like this alone to the people whom have power over the channel, for they know more than you do.

And keep little remarks to yourself, thank you.

Yanmega, your ban was made by someone who currently no longer has power over the channel. I went ahead and unbanned you, I'll also question that person later for the reason you were banned in the first place.

I didn't quite word it right. I meant Scizz was in his "Ban the spammer" mood. Sorry if it was taken as an offense.

Before I was banned, I kept flooding with the word "FUD" for really no reason. So I understand why I was banned.
 
There are a few Rules that you do have to follow, such as keeping things G rated, so that means no sexual discussion and no cursing, such things can result in a ban. Though these bans do not last long, the more you do it, the worse your ban time will be, continue to break rules and it will result in a perma ban from chat.
