5th Gen Iris in the Games / New commercials discussion

Hmmm, those rings that the player goes blasting through has intrigued me.
 
I love these vids!

My thoughts:
1st video:
-I like the new evolution and egg hatching animations. They make a lot more sense.
-I like Dento's badge style and how the badge is put in the badge case when it's received.
-I am so not looking forward to running into Koromori in caves.
-There are ledges while you surf? Coo, but not suited to my tastes.
-Looks like sandstorms are making a comeback...
-Shimama used Shock Wave! Mamanbou survived?

2nd video:
-Iris is in the games? I thought she was anime only
-Reshiram and Zekrom just got more epic
-Catapulting through hoops is awesome
 
This is a lot to take in for one morning. o_o; But I can't say I'm left in disappointment.

First off, Iris is in the games, wow. When she was announced as an "anime-only" character, I didn't expect her to show up in the games at all. I guess GameFreak has a different meaning to "anime-only" than I do. I'm curious to what her role will be and who is that strange man who reminds me of Prof. Rowan standing next to her? I can only hope we at least get to battle her.

I don't think its been confirmed that Iris is Aloe's daughter. They just happen to look alike, but it's still possible.

Moving on, the battle scenes were hot! I mean literally. The battle between Reshiram and Zekrom was striking (I'm at loss for words right now). >_>; Still, I loved their battle scene, and when Reshiram moves, it also shows the fire coming through its tail. I can only expect the same effect to be done to Zekrom and his blue electrical tail.

Evolution has also changed as far as its animation goes. It looks like the Pokémon is taken into data and brought together again as a new Pokémon. Huh, that seems like a Digimon reference I used there. .-.

Anyway...I'm still in awe.
 
wow it looks just so good. Especialy reshiaram and zekroms attacks.

Notice the 2 pokemon statues on the screenshot, that pokemon kinda reminded me of mewtwo, I think it may be some legendary pokemon.

It has some sort of scithe like arms, like kabutops and scizor had, and a really big head. Maybe some prehistoric pokemon
 
I'm 100% sure she's involved with reshiram and or Zekrom.
And that that tower is were they are.
 
Also, she's in that White place of the White and Black twin towers...

Holy cow! You're right. That's really early. I wonder if it's maybe a friendship/location evolution? Because if it's really just level, that's the lowest one yet, and I'm not really seeing that as a good thing...=/
 
Did anyone else notice how Shimama could attack upon switching out?
What do you think caused it? A move? an Ability? New battle mechanics?

are you sure that's not Zekrom?... thats what i thought...
but i guess it does look a little on the fat side to be Zekrom... but the wings, feet and arms are kinda just like Zekrom to me
just the Enlarged Head... and REALLY round rib-cage makes me think otherwise

and about the N picture... maybe those Pokemon are in his team? just evolved stages
he could have Zoroark, Hihidaruma(evo?) and maybe evo of Koromori =DD
 
I saw Iris too,I was about to make a thread lol
But the Reshiram and Zekrom battles look epic! and everything just looks epic!
I was a having a fit about how awesome it was XD

Lolz, i thought his ribs were his arms, omg. Than it may acctually look like zekrom, but still why would zekrom be dead :O and they had his bones. I know we had fossil pokemon before, but this just seems disguisting to meh :( I hope it is just some random fossil.

... I just had a thought. That looks a LOT like Dragonite to me. The round head, round snout, big eye sockets, huge round body, small limbs, and comically small wing structure.

It doesn't look like Zekrom or Reshiram to me. XD; Both Zekrom and Reshiram have a small rib structure.. nothing huge and wide like that..
Their wings are also much bigger..

I saw that as well. I am going to lean toward a move or an ability caused that. I am still a bit skeptical that Iris will appear in the games because when she was reviled it was stated she would be anime-only.
