IS feebas really worth catching and evolving?
cuz i see in my location that so many people are caught up in catcing and evolving one, for me Magikarp is better cuz when it evolves it's pretty offensive. but for you guys what's your oppinion?

actually, its probably one of THE hardest things to catch in the wild, not because of the catch rate no (its at 255), but what you have to do to in order to make it appear that makes it difficult.

they're somewhat decent mixed wall, as in all bulky waters are and can hit pretty hard on the special side of attacks.

And yea, magicarp is a given because it evolves into most impressive offensive threats to date. hell, given the right boost stats, even magicarp can become a deadly force to be reckoned, that's why marriland is so popular around new battlers, owns an entire hacked shiny team. lulz

moral of my long story, preferences. :P

cynthia's milotic had mirror coat which gave me a VERY hard time. i guess it's worth it. never had the patience myself.

well Actually I beat that thing with a Golduck but I really don't think that it's all that in battle only in contest

Not worth the effort of catching it by normal means. If you have wi-fi access or a friend who has Feebas, I'd advise trying those avenues first, even if it involves going on the GTS. It's how I got mine.

Milotic vs. Gyarados is really a matter of what role you want your Water-type to play. Milotic is more defensive, but can still do some damage with Special attacks (as well as Mirror Coat.) Gyarados is stronger and has better offensive moves (like Earthquake) at its disposal. It also has a (IMO) more useful ability in Intimidate.

isn't it better Trading for a Female Milotic and then just Breed it so it can have an egg that will eventually hatch into a Feebas?

The Feebas and Milotic, really, are just hard-to-get pokemon. To have them is like a reward in itself. Think of shinies, for example.
Plus, you need 'em to complete your pokedex.

well i don't care for a shiny pokemon so that's why i don't care for milotic and feebas

if you don't have time to wait for feebas to evolve into militoc well it's not worth it

Feebas is crap, and I dont have the poffins to make it a Milotic, which is only slightly crappy.
Magikarp is way easier to catch and Gyarados is way more fun to use in-game.

Gyrados might seem like a better choice then Milotic when it comes to battle, but does the reason for catching it really need to be to just pwn some other pokemon? cant it just be done cause its something challenging to find?

I agree. Magikarp are easier, but Milotic are beautiful pokemon. I would try and trade for a Feebas though. Not worth hunting for.

I never took an interest in Feebas, so I never tried to catch him. But if you want Milotic, sure it's worth it.

    Milotic = Major epic win.
Catch it. Or get it from the GTS

Well, what's even more tedious is that the Feebas has to be a certain nature to get enough Beauty to evolve into Milotic. Guess you can just breed, but not everyone is able to trade a Ditto...nor does everyone end up with a female Feebas when they finally find one. If you really care about getting a Milotic, then it's worth it. If not, I wouldn't bother.
