    Are the episodes based around Team Rocket better than the others. Seriously looking back, I can recall that my favorite episodes are the ones that center around Team Rocket. Especially the ones that explain their backrounds, and that one with Blissy and Jessie is probably one of my favorite episodes of all time.

    So what do you think? Do you like the episodes that mainly start Team Rocket, or do you prefer when they are being lauched off for hundreds of miles yet they are seemingly unharmed and recover all lost distance in one episode?
     
    Nope, it's not just you.

    The Team Rocket trio are some of my favorite characters. I absolutely love the episodes that are centered around Team Rocket; they always turn out great. TR actually gets more character development than the main character himself. Each member has such an interesting backstory, which makes their episodes interesting as well. This is one of the reasons I'm slightly disappointed with the new "serious" TR in BW; only slightly. I would rather have their story wrapped up in DP, rather than seeing them undergo such a drastic change in character. It would have been cool to see them go to jail at the end of DP and then return as good guys or something in BW. However, I have at least some faith in the writers. I think we'll see TR's personality shine through sometime in BW. If so, it will probably be towards the end. Maybe Giovanni will attempt to split up the trio? Would this new TR follow orders, or would their strong friendship show itself?

    My favorite episodes are frankly, the ones that involve Team Rocket the least. :P
     
    I don't give Team Rocket much of my attention, but when I think about it, my favorite episodes are always the ones that involve them, and mainly the James centered ones. Like, uumm.. trying to remember the English names.. Oh yeah! Holy Matrimony, The Purr-fect Hero, Sweet Baby James, and The Treasure Is All Mine. There's probably more that I don't remember. xD;

    I don't pay much attention to the TR episodes either, but they're a good way to provide character development.
     
    Meh Latley I haven't been caring about Team Rocket, if you mean Best Wishes than no. If you mean the past, I at least liked them better back than, I still liked the main characters episodes better though.
     
    I don't know, some other supporting character-centric episodes are quite good as well (even a Max hater can enjoy Do I Hear a Ralts?/Hurry Up, Masato! Rescue Ralts!).

    But I definitely did enjoy the Rocket-centric episodes the most because while they're VERY funny characters, their pasts are quite often tragic and more complex than most of the main characters in any given series (with good reason, after all-- the main characters are children still), which gives their personalities a very well-rounded feel and their episodes a great range in themes and moods.

    Also, I love Musashi/Jessie. She was my favourite character, throughout the series!

    Ignorance is Blissey/Hapinasu the Happy Nurse and Crossing Paths/Farewell, Dokucale! are so touching, occasionally funny (moreso the first than the latter), but so sad... still, I also loved seeing her softer, gentler side. Kojiro, Musashi, and Nyasu are all very sweet and loyal underneath it all. <3

    I'm still intrigued by the Best Wishes version of the Rocket trio, but I'm definitely hopeful that the writers will take this somewhere.
     
    Wow come to think of it yeah. Actually I think it was in one of the chronicle episodes which starred Jessie and Cassidy. And also the first time that they show Jessibell (I think thats how you spell her name) and James trying to get married. That was some of my favorite episodes. I wish we can a little more of that :D
