[Sword & Shield] Is Pikachu worth it in battle?

    Last Monday I received Pokémon Sword in the mail and got to try it out yesterday. I caught myself a Pikachu, because who doesn't love Pikachu?

    Anyways, I'm wondering: Is it worth keeping in my party for battling Pokémon, trainers, and Gym Leaders? It's currently at level 32 and doesn't seem to be doing that much damage. Not even to the Pokémon type that are weak against electric-type. Is it worth leveling up, or should I just throw it in the box?
     
    Weak reply, but every Pokémon is worth using and keeping as long as you like it!

    You'll be able to G-Max that Pikachu too, later in game. :)

    I'm glad! I'd hate to have Pikachu, and let her collect dust in a Box. Thanks for the reply!

    Not sure if you plan to evolve it, but Raichu is a great mon to have on your team! And if you keep hunting wild Pikachu then you can sometimes find them holding the Light Ball, which boosts Pikachu's attack and special attack when held. Definitely viable to use 👍
