Is smoking cool?

Ermmm... no. Smoking is defiantely not cool. It destroys your lungs and causes cancer.

#1 heart problems
#2 lung cancer
#3 mouth cancer
#4 brain axificiation
#5 blood problems
#6 secound hand and burth problems or death

so you see only tabaco (witch is a drug) hurts alot, i never will do it and i have no intetion of doing it it's just plain wrong as hell!!
 
Smoking isn't cool at all. I don't see any reason at all for anyone to start - all it does is damage your health, make your skin yellow and your clothes smell...there's nothing good about it whatsoever. The amount of money people can save if they don't smoke is amazing, too!

I will be a non-smoker for life. :)
 
I actually find it personally offensive when someone smokes around me, because not only are they showing that they don't care about their own health, but they show that they don't care about anyone else's, either. I'm very allergic to secondhand smoke and I easily begin coughing when I'm around it; I won't go into a store or restaurant that allows smoking, and I try to avoid smokers as much as possible as they end up instantly infuriating me. It's a disgusting habit, a widely-embraced evil, and it automatically sends you to the lowest rung of the social ladder if you do it.

The real villains here are the tobacco companies, though, but that's another discussion for another day...as much as I'd like to, I can't afford to type for an hour about how evil they are.
 
Of course. Sacrifice your health to fit in with others, and then, before you know it, you'll be in your deathbed, unable to enjoy the 'cool life'. Logic at its best.

In fact, why doesn't everyone start smoking, then it might have the opposite effect? [/sarcasm]
 
I definitely agree with Alan. I hate, hate, hate when people smoke near me. It really is offensive... if they want to ruin their own health, fine be my guest... but it doesn't give them any right to ruin mine. And unfortunately for me, I always end up stuck standing behind people who are smoking. I can't breathe at all when people are smoking near me. Especially at my old job... where I was one of the two or three people who didn't smoke. Yeah, that was fun... <<;

My best friend's parents and brother all used to smoke. Her mom ended up having heart problems, and smoking made that so much worse for her. She ended up having to quit, and I remember that being really hard for her. But in the end she did quit, and I think she's alright now.

I'm so glad they put laws in place making smoking in places like restaurants illegal. I used to go out to eat breakfast with my friend and her mom, and we'd end up sitting in the smoking section. I didn't want to be rude to my friend and ask to move, so I just had to suck it up and basically not breathe the whole time we were there eating...
 
No...I hate it >.O I have like...the worlds worst lungs, so even the slightest hint of smoke will screw me over in a few minutes. And it doesn't really help that my mom is a heavy smoker.

Me only likes smoking sigs when something crazy is happening, like you're in a life threatening situation or something. Like you're about to die, maybe..

Marijuana is pretty much safe. Unless you smoke it every second, when it's mixed with other crap. Then you'll end up like that blondish hair dude from Half Baked XD Marijuana just pretty much slows things down for you, when things are getting crazy. Kinda like with cigs o.o
 
No way is it cool. I don't even know how anyone could have an opinion against that. O.O My Mom smokes and when I still lived with her, people were smoking around me all the time. All it did was make me experience secondhand smoke and other negative effects, like smelly clothes. I can't say it's on the top of my things to never do list right now. =P
 
yeah sure, smoking may be cool, but why risk it. Why try to fit in with your friends, when you are only fitting into your death. Smoking is one of the most reasons why people die. So don't try to be cool, being cool is really a non-sm0ker
 
NO!!! MY dad died of a lung disease that is often caused by smoking! Smokers are total idiots, and that's that! If you smoke, GET OVER IT BEFORE YOU FRICKING KILL YOURSELF! And also, it's rude because second hand smoke is bad and I can barely breathe when I'm around it!
 
nope. i detest smoking. their is nouthing good bout' smoking... i never have or plan to. the day someone tells me a decent reason to smoke is the day i smoke, so i can safely garenty i will have a smokeing-free life :)

you should ask someone to make a pop-up and send it on the internet to make them realise that smoking is BAD, GOD! they smoke than they cant stop its a freakin drug and tthey start 50% at 15!
 
I really don't care. I have a lot of friends in my school that smoke. Hell, I am always outside with them while they take a puff or two.

I don't mind second-hand smoke especially since my dad used to smoke all the time, besides, I got the world's strongest lungs. I can handle any type of fumes, why else do you think I used inhalants and didn't end up in the hospital? lol

The con about it is that I come home smelling like cigarettes and my ma thinks I've been smoking. lol

Don't get me wrong, I don't think its cool or anything. I'd never ever smoke. I don't fancy the idea of a hole in my throat and getting my boyfriends to do something "kinky" with it :/

I'm not a smoker, I'm a drunk. Drill that into yo head. ;3
 
Um yeah, smoking sucks. Especially when girls do it. Frankly, you could be the most beautiful girl on the PLANET, but if you smoke you're butt friggin ugly...

I kissed once a chick that smoked (fine girl she was) and she tasted hella good <3 So I guess the rumor of smokers tasting like ashtrays is not true lol
 
No way. Smoking's definitely NOT cool, and should never be promoted as such. Smoking not only harms your health, but it harms others around you through passive smoking, plus it makes all your stuff stink of smoke so people avoid you too. It also gets you addicted and wastes all your money... one of my friends took up smoking at the beginning of this year, and now he's addicted and never has money because he spends it all on cigarettes.
