Well, if it's cool to waste huge amount of money on smelling awful, getting yourself chronic coughing fitts, slowly clogging up your arteries and finally dying a premature and miserable death of lung cancer or some other breath-affecting disease then the answer would be yes.

And in case I didn't make my opinion on the matter clear:

Smoking nearly killed my dear piano teacher and I'll be glad on the day when it's finally recognized for what it is: A dangerous drug that should be banned and eradricated. <_<
 
yeah it sucks.now that u think of it...it is a drug like cannabis so why is it not illegal to smoke it.(i'm in england so it may have allready been deemed illegal in ur countries)has any1 seen the advert where these people are smoking and fat starts dribbiling out of their cigarets.IT'S SICK.i think there should be more anti-smoking ads!

Let's not forget the rate the population is increasing (not counting deaths, of course), which at last check, was 4 in one second.

Yep, it seems we now have 6 years to live.

You people need to realise that it isn't a game of ditching tobacco and then everybody moving on with their lives, hell no. My stepfather - as much as I sometimes hate him - has been smoking for over 40 years now, or so he says. He's practically dead from it - that and drinking, but smoking is the main problem. He's tried several times in the last couple of years to quit. Yet he still does it. And I seriously doubt somebody could be so stupid as to basically 'forget' that they're quitting.

Dawson put it even better in the drinking thread, so read that~

of course smoking is not cool. any action that leads to the deterioration of the body, mentally or physically, is not "cool". what kind of question is that? i mean, what deems something as "cool" anyway? "coolness" is a perceived thing. it's different for everyone. anyway, back to smoking, it's definetely not ok and in no way does it enhance one person's "coolness".

Smoking tobacco is not cool(besides, no one under 18 can smoke tobacco legally).
Smoking pot is illegal, period.
Smoking of any sort kills.
So smoking altogether is not cool at all, and it's very bad for you.
 
I voted for no,I think it is very bad for u.Everytime when someone smokes,my nose can sense it and if I'm around the smell for a very long time,my nose will stuff up and I would be sneezing a lot.I hate it when it happens,my nose acts up most of the time when I'm at partys I go to.
