Is your neighborhood walkable?

On one side of my place is a park, and if I cut across it and a couple streets, I can get to Target, Wendy's, Best Buy, and a couple other stores.

The other side of my place has been home to one construction project after another - I used to be able to walk to my bank and a pretty good bar/grill restaurant before said projects started. Thankfully, it looks like they may finally be finishing it up soon so I can finally walk to those places again as well.

The traffic's pretty busy around my parts, but I've learned to deal with it.

Not very, a good portion of nearby roads don't have sidewalks and even the nearest convenience store takes like 20 minutes to reach. It's good enough in a pinch, but I'd prefer to drive if at all possible.

My neighborhood is super walkable! There's a few walking trails around there, too, which is really good because I enjoy walking as a supplement with the gym.

Very. There's a supermarket, two doctors, a dentist, a library, a gym, multiple smaller food stores and a handful of fast food places and restaurants all within like 5-10 minutes walk. If you're a parent, there's also two primary schools and ahigh school about the same distance. I live across from a park too.

Then there's a bunch of other shops and services a fairly short drive away too.

In terms of ways to get around, it's limited because there's very little side walk and even long stretches of no sidewalk, and the traffic lights don't detect pedestrians even when they press the button which I found out recently can be very problematic, especially at night.

In terms of distance, it would depend on how far you define as walkable, but I will say if I ever needed to walk to get groceries, I couldn't.
