What have I been doing with my time? Well, aside from real life, stress and feeling a little down in the dumps because of the former two; I've not long since started playing a little shiny game called Pokemon HeartGold! I'm sure you all know about it. ^^
At the moment, I'm on the way to Olivine City for a little climbing exercise and a few swimming lessons. I'm hoping to have Cainwood City's Gym beaten by tomorrow, so I can go get my Lapras from Union Cave with little travelling fuss. ^^

I remember Bugsy being a pushover in GSC, (at least to me) but in HG/SS, I genuinely had trouble taking down his Scyther, which I'm pretty sure is a Technician... >>;;
Though I was a little disappointed with Whitney and her infamous Miltank... but I guess that's my fault... Paralysis, -4 stages on both her Attack and Defense, coupled with my Reflect being up really dealt with her swiftly. Guess I was a little more prepared for her, unlike the days when I just went into any Gym, guns blazing... XD;;

[ Now for some of the new features of the games ]

I really like what they did with both the trees that you'd usually get recovery berries from and the method of growing your own berries; it makes everything so comfortable and at-hand. I really didn't like running around, trying to keep up with all my berries, despite DPPt's attempt at helping with locations. (a Poketch App.) Its also nice having more Apricorns to collect and that you can give Kurt more than one to speed things up a little. (however, I'm not sure if you could give him multiple in GSC, so...)
Another thing I found enjoyable was the change made to the Slots! I'm not a big fan of Smeargle, but those Slots are so awesome! the number of Bonus rounds I had was ridiculous... XD;
The Pokethlon to the west of the National Park is okay, but I can't seem to get used to some of the games; in particular the brick smashing and... umm... oh yeah! The football-like game. >.<; Nonetheless, its still a nice little feature and I have fun with it, despite how much of a pain those multi-Pokemon games are... >>;; Though I do have to say, running laps was pretty fun. Oddish is quite possibly one of my star runners. XD
Hmm... that's about all I can be bothered to blog about, for now... other than I'll really REALLY start trying to me online more often, so long as things don't get in the way... ;-;
