Hey everybody, I've been out of the competitive scene for a little bit, and I just wanted to see what everybody's thoughts were on this team I found in my Showdown teams.

    Spoiler:

IMO running Jirachi as a tank is OK but even if you do get the body slam paralysis your Iron Head flinching won't do much without attack investment. I would go with full attack and HP - it should still be a difficult pokemon to KO.

Jirachi is supposed to support the team with Wish and paraflinching is just a nice bonus. The specially defensive EV spread allows Jirachi to more comfortably take resisted special hits. Damage output isn't the point of support sets.

That's fine but the team is already quite lacking in offensive capability and is going to run into a lot of trouble with any opponent with Taunt.

The team lacks offensive capability because it's a stall team. It's designed to poison or burn the opponent and then wait them out. Switching to a more offensive Jirachi variant (the only one worth a damn being Scarf Jirachi) would ruin the team's synergy and not be nearly enough to add offensive presence to the team anyway.

That being said, you're right that taunt abusers will be a problem for this team although M-Sableye does mitigate that to a degree.

Rolling with Skarmory with Spikes+Whirlwind over Jirachi may be a little better. This gives you additional hazard damage plus the ability to phaze, which is great for hazard stacking/stall teams (Skarmory also gives you a much needed ground immunity while retaining the steel typing). It's particularly good since you have Mega Sableye, who's a great spinblocker. Chansey can become your Wish passer instead.

It's also unnecessary to have SR on two pokes
