    Some say Christmas/Hannuka (SP?) time is the most wonderful time of the year. For some, it's not their favorite holiday, so what's yours?
     
    I'm quite a fan of Christmas
    New years sorta gives me mixed emotions. it's usually pretty cool, but as the night draws on, it sometimes gets sorta depressing for me

    Christmas is the sole reason I do good in school, as it does pay off. Also, its the first REAL vacation after the first day of school.

    For some reason, I can't ever go to sleep on New Years. I just don't get tired...
     
    Sundays.

    I chose other - I'm not a fan of public holidays - too many people out and about. I like it when its quiet out, and Sunday mornings is perfect because its when a lot of people are hung-over and in their beds.
     
    Christmas/New Year holiday is my favourite, as in Australia it's the longest holiday and it's the end of another school year. ^_^
     
    Christmas is my favorite time of year.

    You get out of school for a few weeks. Plus you get stuff for FREE! I mean, Who doesn't like that? You gather with Family and Friends and you brag about what you got spend time together.
     
    a tie between Halloween and X-mas

    Halloween: the ghost and dead things come alive, free candy. Scary people. Mostly Ghost

    Christmas: Free stuff that you always wanted for like ever and trash talking family members ^_^

    Christmas is one of my favorite holidays since not only am I celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ, I get some time off from school and work, I get to hang out with some friends and family and just have a great time. ^^

    I also love Halloween. It's the chance I have to show off my cosplay costumes! :D
     
    Halloween. I can dress like a freak, get free candy, and raise all sorts of heck. Plus it's only three days after my birthday.
     
    None I love them all, I could use a nice vacation now...
     
    Christmas is the best if I want it to be.

    I love the lights.

    And the concerts.

    And the air.

    I also like Halloween. It makes me tingle.
     
    Christmas simply because of the presents and because you can eat as much a you want. I don't really care much about the other holidays. (And half of the stuff on the poll aren't even celebrated in Finland. =P)
     
    You just can't deny Christmastime. No other holiday seems to have the festive and loving spirit of the 25th of December.

    However, the emphasis on rampant consumer leaves much to be desired...
