  • I'm having some serious trouble installing the newest version of iTunes. My system uses the 64 bit which is the version of iTunes that I downloaded. As I try to install it a warning comes out.

What does this mean? What would I need to do to fix this?
The help will be greatly appreciated.

  • I'll have to contact Apple after all. I tried downloading it again but the same problem is happening.

I checked my OS and the System Type says that it's a 64 bit. So I keep downloading and trying to install the 64 bit iTunes but the warning is still there.

  • If you're only going to use itunes to listen to music, I'd suggest changing to a different music player like winamp or foobar2000.

  • Why dont you download it into the "C:/Program Files(x86)" folder instead of the normal "C:/Program Files" folder.

  • Try downloading the 32-bit version anyway. Sometimes 64-bit software is glitchy, and 32-bit versions still work on 64-bit systems.
