Anyway, just finished Cowboy Bebop. Of course it was obvious what was coming but still a manly tear was shed at the end, so glad this series didn't let me down. :)

but she literally sold her soul to the devil, then someone else reaped all the fruits of her suffering. and no one even thanks her for it all. i think some angst would hardly go amiss here.

Panty would like you to know what her opinion of Kyuubee is. (She also has impeccable taste in anime and games, but that's neither here nor there.) Nagi shares the same sentiments. In any case, who wouldn't want some divine (or infernal, for that matter) judgment to be visited upon that little abomination? In the absence of either Nanoha or Ai, though, a large enough Gatling gun should more than suffice; a piddly little Beretta 92FS just won't cut it. Alternately, one can try cooking the thing, though poor Mami obviously isn't around to enjoy a few flame-broiled Kyuubee burgers.

Yeah, I'm just taking the opportunity to ramble a bit about Madoka Magica while posting stuff from Danbooru (disclaimer about potentially NSFW ads goes here). Needless to say, it's probably the only series from this season that actually interests me.

In related news, if anyone here needs a bit of catharsis, have a go or two at shooting Kyuubee yourself.

The QB shooting game was a genius, but bleh, I cringe.

I swear people's opinion of QB changes per episode.

No opinion -> suspected evil -> justified to be amoral -> creepy -> HATRED.

It's a testament to how ever-changing and unpredictable this show is.

Gah, thinking back more on it, I'm totally cool with Sayaka now.

Though I'm still totally pissed that they killed off Kyoko. I liked Kyoko.

Then again, we only saw the explosion, not her corpse. I know I'm being extremely optimistic for Madoka, but please... Chekhov's Gun... Chekhov's Gun...

Also, here's my opinion of the characters so far:
Mami: Sucks to be her. However, she also corrupted Sayaka with her idealism, and she was kind of a jerk, probably for the same reasons Sayaka was. In fact, Sayaka and Mami are two of a kind...
Madoka: ...I don't really know. I can't decide between wanting to slap her upside the head, and being understanding at her confusion...
Kyoko: Coolest character so far, amirite? She's not an idealist, she's just fighting because, hell, that's what she does. Her methods are fairly extreme sometimes, but she's got all the reason in the world to act the way she does.
Homerun-chan: ...I can't really say. She's a hard one to place. Her grenades are awesome, though. GRENADIER HOMERUN-CHAN.
QB: CANNOT JUDGE UNTIL EPISODE 12.

Hitomi: Err... Yeah. She should've died in Kyoko's place. I don't care how, but I wouldn't have minded seeing her killed, to save my favorite character. For some reason, I get Minor Beach vibes coming from her.

On another note, I've started playing Sengoku Gensokyo.

Goodness gracious, this game is awesomesauce in a can. I mean, really. You form armies, and beat the crap out of the various Gensokyo beings.

I've already steamrolled the Youkai Army, and the Doll Liberation Front. Now, I've declared war on the Higan War, and I'm currently marching into the Road of Reconsideration.

Yukari is on our side. We shan't fail.

The similarities between Madoka and Green Lantern are stunning... especially since I FINALLY saw ep. 9.

And yet another "sacrifice one for the good of the world/universe as a whole" explanation... which I've seen over and over in JRPG's. Of course in the JRPG's the heroes somehow find a way to save the "one" and the world.... but Madoka might be too twisted for that sort of happy ending xD
