Fractale has to be the strangest anime i've seen in ages, I'm still not sure if i'm enjoying it yet. Away from Fractale i really liked episode 4 of the loli Sherlock Holmes, the characters really are the selling point to this show. If the mysteries pick it could end up being pretty special.

So, you also think that Akira Toriyama's character design is hideous? That's probably the only thing we have in common, then.

I checked out a couple and remembered why I stopped watching. Superficial reasons of art, character design and the painful English dub. I think if i was going to try this again it would be a manga venture, i finally got up to date with the Naruto today so i'll probably pick up another "battle manga" before long (Probably go for OP mind).

Tbh i don't think i'll see a better fight than Naruto V Pain (all 6 of him) in a long while.

Anyway, i think that's probably enough of this topic as next to no other people on this thread watch these shows. :L

Actually i never even checked out that one, the Loli detective is Victorica de Blois of this seasons Bones anime Gosick.

And i'm surprised to see someone that doesn't know about Higurashi, It's probably the most well known horror anime about :o.

ANd outside of the airing anime my slowly watching series is Hidamari Sketch x 365. I'm thinking about going Higurashi Kai, Darker Than Black, Ergo Proxy or Aoi Hana thisevening.

I'll watch that this summer, finish AB! when I finish it, let Madoka fill in the cracks, catch up on Gosick, and let Tantei Opera be my focus after AB!?

But the next episode title just threw up a huge death flag for Madoka. If she wasn't the main character, I would've already written her off based on the title.

The trippy part he latest Madoka episode was great. and yes my thoughts literally were **** just got real ^_^

How come you mostly watch dubs? I don't think i'm being weeaboo in saying dubs just don't feel right. There are a couple that have been ok though (Death Note and Black Lagoon were watchable) but meh. :/

Fair enough i guess, you're missing out on some pretty epic series though. I mean Clannad After Story isn't dubbed yet (i think) and that's the best thing ever.

How long does it usually take a popular series to get dubbed?

It varies.
DRRR!! is immensely popular and it's dub is coming out this month. Took about a year.
K-ON! is as well and its is coming out in like April. That's about like a little less than 2 years.

Also, someone mentioned Milky Holmes. Most underrated gem of the Fall 2010 series.

I'd say the best anime of last season was Bakuman, not really sure how many people think the same though.

And from the pic i think i'd rather have another KnJ. :L

Sentai Filmworks is already several steps ahead of you. As for After Story being "the best thing ever," I sincerely doubt that.

Well it's the best anime i've seen in almost 52 days worth of viewing, and a lot of people share the opinion. Then again that's all it is, an opinion.

I just had a look on Youtube at Milky Holmes, it looks like it could be pretty fun. I am a fan of random as hell shows like that.
