I've been told it's more enjoyable if you watch Baccano! first, apparently there's lots of references to that. Also have you noticed an appearance from Holo?

I've never watched spice and wolf.

Should I watch that one first too? lol (These really aren't my usual genres. I normally watch slice of life more than anything.)

I haven't seen Baccano or DRRR but they are the two i believe that have a lot n common. Spice and Wolf is a really nice anime but i think it's just a simple crossover/cameo.

As I said Spice and Wolf is really nice, it's a little wordy and there are a few economics lectures but I really liked it. Holo is easily one of my favourite characters ever.

Yeah, they must... the opening of one of them is blatantly copying the other... not sure who's doing the copying though. :P

DRRR is more recent so if it was copying it'd be that. The same director, Takahiro Imori did both series and he's got a decent reputation. He's done those two titles, Jigoku Shojo, Aria the Natural and one of my favourite romance anime of all time Koi Kaze :o. Seeing that i'm probably going to try Baccano! tonight.

Well, I watched Baccano before, and I didn't quite enjoy it when I should be. I loved DRRR though.

I loved how all the seemingly unrelated, individual stories in Baccano! weaved together seamlessly at the end. A rewatch made things all the better.

DRRR!! anime started off strong with introductions of its great and likable characters in a strange yet awesome universe. But then it turned its focus onto TEENAGE FRIENDSHIP DRAMA and SECRET MISUNDERSTANDINGS which left an overall unsatisfactory feeling in comparison to Baccano! Basically this can be summed up as "Needed more Celty, Shizuo, Izaya, and everyone else and less of Masaomi and Anri".

Sequels. Freaking. Where. Brains Base?

I was going to check it out tonight but meh, i'm tired now.

Madoka episode 7 was pretty awesome. I really have stopped liking both Sayaka and Madoka though -.-....but the more i see of Kyuubey the more awesome he is. :L
Spoiler:

SAYAKA WENT CRAZY. And I sense Kyoko death flags everywhere. Mami also revealed her past before... she went ahead of herself. D:

Spoiler:

This anime loves foreshadowing. On episode three, you can see warning signs everywhere when they entered the witch's lair.

Looks like it won't be until at least Tuesday till I can get myself caught up on Madoka... at least it's only episodes 6-7 I have to catch up on.

But thanks for making me really imaptient to see it xD

Not a massive fan of the tv show because of the bad acting but the plot is pretty interesting, it might be good.

Not only anime related but something funny happened this evening.
>Breaks speaker
>****
>Looks in cupboard
>Finds 5.1 surround sound system i got for Christmas
>Watches Gintama like a king.

I'd totally forgotten, it was a Christmas 2009 prezzie after all. Funny thing is I was just checking my cupboards on the off chance i had some travel speakers or something. :L

Haha, wow. xDD;;
It must've been an extremely pleasant surprise when you found them.

By the way, I finally bothered to finish Spice and Wolf, and I'm now three episodes into season 2. It was... pretty good. xDD;;

I just recently started to watch Kore wa Zombie Desu Ka? and Hourou Musuko, and both are really great. They're also polar opposites genre wise though... But I definitely recommend both!

What I want to know is how the bag of cliché that is Infinite Stratos still manges to be really entertaining?
