GIMMEGIMMEGIMME

I'll watch it "this summer."

Which is how I say "I'll get around to it eventually."

Also, it's funny. Apparently, some animu guy was raeging about how SHAFT sucks at deadlines, so they're "relieved" because this earthquake will give SHAFT more time to finish the last two episodes.

xD

Also, still giggling at Mourning Rescue.

Can't comment on Shaft and their deadline keeping abilities as i've only really been following "currently airing" anime for about a year. I don't think i could go back to only watching complete (and running on TV here) series.

Tbh I don't think i'd care if Shaft missed the odd deadline, i've not seen a bad Shaft series as of yet. I honestly don't know why Shinbo/u gets such a bad reaction on a/ and similar sites.

Actually have any of you lot seen a bad Shinbo/u @ Shaft anime?

Well, SHAFT has deadline issues. The messed up Dance in the Vampire Bund, the Mt. Fuji incident in Hidamari Sketch (where they completely cannot finish the backdrop so they replaced it with Mt. Fuji instead), the infamous Bakemonogatari episode 10, and the lack of quality for Zan Zetsubou-sensei. :(

I don't know, I love SHAFT so I can't really comment on horrible animes made by SHAFT.

Also, I tried watching Index once. Never got past episode 2.

Well, I plan to watch the following Anime during this month and the next, any heads up?

Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt
Neon Genesis Evangelion
To Aru Majutsu No Index

(Assuming this is the right discussion)

Panty and Stocking was fine but not amazing, it's kinda like what would happen if Seitokai Yakuindomo and Dead Leaves had a cute little baby anime. I've given my early opinions on index and NGE is on my ever expanding to watch list.

I actually donated directly to Red Nose Day so yeah, I'm awesome.

Anyway onto a One Piece marathon, wan't to read enough so i can watch a couple of films my nan randomly gave me on DVD without spoilering.

Hey, hey, I said it was lazy, didn't I?

I'm flat broke, and even in debt, so I can't do anything for Japan, besides spread the word.

I didn't mean any offence, jus' some fun. ;)

And honestly reading OP makes me a little bit annoyed at Tite Kubo, honestly his lack of backgrounds are astonishing.

But that's what he's famous for, isn't it?

Anyway, I need to pick up The World Ends With You again. I really have no excuse for not finishing that game.

That's why he's so infamous, "The Heart". Bleach would have a lot less haters of Kubo was a little less lazy. I'm guessing he decided to do this to save money on paying assistants? Oda Eiichiro has 4 (well he did when he started) i guess their wages really add up after a while.

Don't really play a lot of games, guess it's not surprising i've never heard of that. :L

I just realized... I think I enjoy listening to the opening of K-On!! more than I enjoy watching the actual episode.

Yeah.

I just realized... I think I enjoy listening to the opening of K-On!! more than I enjoy watching the actual episode.

Yeah.

Wait, you're watching K-on instead of skimming it for music? I know that's what I did for the entire second season.

Nope. I'm just skimming it for music. Haven't seen K-On!! in a while, and that was around the time episode 3 aired.

Hm, I watch K-On since it's airing locally here.

ANYWAYS, since RC put up the Spring 2011 Preview, I actually know what I'm going to watch. There's lots of interesting anime this season. Compared to summer's.

Here's a list of what I'm thinking of watching.
Nichijou -- KyoAni's sequel to K-On. They're trying to appeal to lolicons.
Hen Zemi -- Okay, wtf. Trying to watch for Kana Hanazawa.
Hanasaku Iroha -- Only deciding factor is PA Works for their work on Angel Beats. The promotion video makes me think that this is like Angel Beats.
Ore-tachi ni Tsubasa wa Nai -- Not too sure for this one. Might not even watch it.
Hoshizora e Kakaru Hashi -- Erm, this too.
STEINS;GATE -- This anime reminds me that I need to finish Chaos;Head.
30-Sai no Hoken Taiiku -- Okaaaaaaaaaaay.
SKET DANCE -- Going to watch, actually, going to read the manga first.
Hidan no Aria -- Vanilla soruto de, banira... omoiiii~ Toradora cast makes me want to watch it.
A-Channel -- Read the manga. I'm totally watching this.
Denpa Onna to Lotte no OmochaSeishun Otoko -- It's SHAFT, duh. Them adapting from another light novel again isn't half bad either.
Maria Holic Alive -- SHAFT + the last season wasn't half bad. I just hope that fansub groups wont drop out of subbing this again halfway. They gave up on episode 10 from the last season. ._.
Ao no Exorcist -- Not really caught my eye, but RC makes it sound good, though.
Kami nomi zo Shiru Sekai II -- What? Only 3 heroines? I thought there was six this time? The manga said that they're introducing 6 heroines in the second season. ;;
C: The Money of Soul and Possibility Control - Not really interesting but the art looks so cool.
Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae wo Boku-tachi wa Mada Shiranai. -- The summary made me cry. ;;
Deadman Wonderland -- Before the anime was even announced, there was so much hype in this manga and one of the 'must become an anime' list. i was disappointed that this is just 12 episodes though. D:

So yeah, bold is definitely watch, while others are just skimming through.

Watching Zone of the Enders: Dolores, I.
it's a bit weird. but the series overall is pretty great and the theme song is HEAVY METAL THUNNNDERRR.

K-On! is great even if nothing ever really happens and the animation is average at best. I'll admit i love most of the songs, especially the ones that Mio sings.

Dat ending song.

Any chance you could link us that preview RYOUKI?
