Gintama was like that for me for a long time but not so much any more. Mostly episodic and the odd short arc makes it very easy to pick up and put down as the mood takes you.

Usagi Drop is really cute, balances drama and humour really well. Likeable characters, simple but pretty art (my current set). I guess the only problem with it would be it's slow translation rate, it's up to it's 50 over in Japan but only around 30 are available atm. I'm hoping with the anime on it's way it'll kick the demand up.
 
Going to get some manga volumes (Mainly R+V) from Borders today :D

I hope SHAFT made the final episodes QUALITY free, they've had enough time to work on it
 
Indeed, although I think a lot of the reasons why it hasn't aired have been sensitivity related, tsunami and all. For a while I was worried we were going to have to wait months as we did with Bakemonogatari, very much excited for the final.

Just realised i'm 11 episodes behind on airing shows, i think this proves i'm going to have to not bother with a few of these. :L
 
So I bought some R+V II manga volumes...... :D I'm a happy camper now.

I should really start watching anime soon, but I can't find the time. I've been waiting for some second/third seasons to some of my favorite anime so I can get more motivated. But for now I guess I'll stick with my manga.
 
Just watched Hen Zemi. WHAT THE HECK DID I JUST WAAAAAATCH. I mean, NTR!? Oh my god... I'm too young for this. They say the OVA was much more perverted. I'm... going to watch it to see whether they were telling the truth or not.

EDIT: Wait,I think I just watched the OVA version. Hm, must investigate this.

EDIT EDIT EDIT: Oh, god. It WAS the OVA version. But knowing that, eh. Hen Zemi (TV) became bland.

I'm trying to watch as much of my backlog as I can before the summer heat hits and I can't be bothered to do anything bar sitting outside drinking Magners and eating manly ice pops.

Also, I'd like you to all join me in mourning the loss of Star Driver Sunday. Our weekends will dark and dreary without you.

Those OVA eps of Hen Zemi are fecking hilarious, can't wait for the TV series.
 
Hahaha, oh ceap. Hen Zemi.. Kana Hanazawa.. haha. It;s too bad that the TV series is only 12 minutes long. If only they did it like they did with the OVA. But I'm glad i'm not eating when I was watching the OVA, I mean... people eats poop.. and I never thought that some horny guys can add on.. other things in my food. I'm so glad I'm not a girl! <(^_^)>!!

My Iroha episode 2 is downloading painfully slowly for some reason. ;__;

Probably not going to sleep a lot tonight so catching up on stuff and trying to finish Maria Holic it is.
 
Just got Pokemon Black

It looks like I'm not going to be watching a lot of anime for a couple of weeks
 
Man who has better things to do with his time reporting in. Spring 2011 is shaping up to be one of the driest seasons on record. Not a single interesting thing going on.

MFW Someone who rates K-On! (a show where nothing happens and everything is cute) so highly not even taking a second glance at the likes of Nichijou or A Channel.

Some would say, not me because it's childish, but some would surely say that person is "pants on head retarded".

This Spring looks better than the last three seasons combined.
 
pretty sure he says that just about every season. Then again, by his method, the only series that's worth anything (>4 on ANN reviews) is Tiger and Bunny, which is a Hero-type series.

More along the lines of "already had his fill of KyoAni-produced moe-blobbery long ago." Incidentally, Nichijou was probably the only series this season I would have considered taking a second glance at, if only because of its supposedly surreal humour and the automatic prestige seemingly attached to most KyoAni works, but whatever. There are so many other things that KyoAni could be working on right now, like another Full Metal Panic! anime, another Key visual novel adaptation (Little Busters is overdue for one), or a third season of Haruhi (though after the Endless Eight fiasco, I doubt it'd go over too well).
