As you can see from my Sig. I'm going to start watching naruto subbed on Hulu again. I plan on watching like 4 tomorrow. I'm at like episode 16 of Shipudden.

Then I dropped after so many episodes, but hey, I tried :x

I think it was during the Pein arc i really started to like Naruto....I wonder why I watched like 300 episodes thinking "meh, this is ok". Watching for the ridiculous evil plots now, i mean...

Oh god I love that manga (Eden no Ori). Haven't caught up on it in ages, though.

And some Shippuuden was on TV the other night. Figured I'd give it a chance but . . . no lmao. It was terrible.

I assume it was in English? NEVER watch it in English, it sounds HORRIBLE! And I didn't like it when I just watched random episodes. You have to see them in order to admire it. I watched the Subs on Hulu in order and loved it. Give it a try.

S;G 3 was a little bit of a let-down after a great start, I hope it picks up again i did lol at that scene though. :D

Into the second stage of Utena, bar some of the stock footage this is pretty cool. What the hell is up with all the brother complex's at that school though?

S;G 03 was awesome, what show were you watching? I'm hard to please these days but I'm enjoying it, to be sure.

Dub/sub makes no difference to me. I could tell that they were really crucial episodes - Naruto & co vs Orochimaru and Kabuto - but it was so boring! Nothing happened! They yelled at each other a bit, then stood around panting while the camera flew all over the place. It was reaaaaally bad filler.

Well. I haven't got there yet but you still nee to understand while they're yelling at eachother. If you watched the end of Naruto you would know. Plot is big in that manga. I love it. But if you don't like it it's your choice. But you should give it a chance sometime.
 
Watching it subbed made a monumental difference for me, you better "believe it". Saying that, even in the original language most people don't like it. Largest hate base for any manga/anime series?
 
That was its chance. I've seen enough to understand what's going on - been reading the manga in SJ every month to get an idea, plus I've seen a bunch of the anime as well - and it still wasn't worth it for me. The manga's better. Still not great, but alright.

EDIT: OH god that 'BELIEVE IT' crap. Ugh. But no, I found '-dattebayo' just as annoying.

Lawl! "These Smell so good!" I quite like Naruto anyways. I hate some parts but I love most part.

Oh, don't worry, you're not the only person here who thinks Naruto is a pile. I'm not big on shounen in general, but Naruto takes the cake for being my least favorite I've ever had the misfortune to accidentally see part of an episode of. The manga's no better, either.

The upside of shounen is GAR stuff, like Outlaw Star and Gurren Lagann and Fist of the North Star. Now those are some classics.
 
I'd have to say that the maniest show I've ever seen was Gunbuster which is pretty ironic since both of the MCs are girls
 
Gunbuster was pretty good, though Gurren Lagann is semi-similar to the manly sides of it, so i'm putting it on top. (also poking GAINAX on running out of money)
