January Sprite Contest Discussion Thread

@matlee: I have moved your post to the Entry thread. There is a seperate thread for people to post their entries in, please post your entry in the right thread, that goes for pending entrants.

i'm not entering this one but so far i think dragonfree will win a place.
 
A Gold, Silver, and Bronze banner with what you placed and your sprite, pixelart, orsprite sheet.
 
Screw my entry. from now on I'm only entering a contest that has several trust worthy judge and run by a decent spriter. Can't we just go back to the Mod hosts and judges idea cause squalls contest was an amazing flop
 
Do as you wish. But we don't plan on making results that seem blunt and careless like those of the September Sprite Contest, as you seem to predict we would. Don't forget that I'm also judging this contest, and whether you enter or not is not of mine or any other of the judges' concern.
 
i've changed my mind i'm going to enter my candy cane ponyta pixel, and allstories looks cool.
 
If you mean if their finished request is automatically theirs in terms of making it, then no. They may've requested it, but they've also no right to fully claim it's their own.
 
dragonfree has competition with ?Ho-Roudon? and matlee because of the beutiful tree

That tree wasn't made by matlee. Simply copying and pasting a tree and putting already made Chaos around it and one on top doesn't really appeal to me in terms of effort.

And rather than disqualifying any entries, I'll leave them there. When we judge the entries, they'd get very low marks anyway.

But the point remains that you actually copy and pasted a picture of a tree into your entry, I wouldn't exactly call that Sprite theft, it wasn't a sprite, however, you didn't make that tree, so it is theft anyway.

And do not double post. At all.

yes it takes me about 5 mons to make a very good chao, 3 okay and 1 mins i think mine are bad when i take that long to make them
 
i put a lot of effort in each chao
