Hello, and congratulations on receiving your new local musical deviant. As I work on setting up my profiles and social links, please take the time to get to know me.
I like music, I love listening to music, I love crafting the stuff. I love loops. I love samples. I love beats, decibels, throaty engines, electric guitars, and neon lights. I love the 80's. I love new wave. I love retro wave. I do not, however, enjoy the pop of today. The king is dead, long live the thriller. I love rap (the old school 80's kind). Thick funky beats and the bridge (the bridge -the-the- bridge). The whirring of machines, mechanical sounds, the industrious industry. The whines and cries of the classic synthesi, the tubes and snapping of electricity.
I enjoy reading books, science fiction and apocrypha. I enjoy writing, writing prompts and scary stories. Most of all the clanky, space ones. Oft from TOR, and most from the Black Library. Dan Abnett, Orson Wells, Lewis Carrol, and Dante too. I've read most through an omnibus or two (more than a dozen though I must confess.)
I love recipes, enjoy cooking, and olive oil. I eat chicken and beef. Lamb and fish. But not pork. I'm not a pig. I like baking, cookies, pastries, soufflé, ice cream, cake, and flans. Jellies and pies, jams and panache on women. Creams and chocolate, cinnamon too ( though not quite as much, mind you). I like soy sauce, strawberries, and cherries as well. Plums, Julia Child, peaches, but mostly pears, apples (the fuji from Washington is just my style). Blueberries, raspberries, waffles, and steaks. Eggs, and carrots, celery in stew. Sometimes the mushroom (I reluctantly make room). The rich and the thick, the juicy, the ripe. What is a crime, however, is that damned yellow 5.
I drink my caffeine black (the majority of mostly all the time) and I hate stale coffee beans. I like grinding my own beans and brewing too. Espresso can really do. If it's dark, that's for me because light coffees are sweeter than teas. I buy the bag and don't buy the cup, because with that I'm saving, quite literally, ten bucks. Not much more to that other than it must be hot.
I love video games. I'm quite the collector, it's really quite sad. But at the end of the day that's of what I had. Hundreds of them, yes it's true (I'm even working on a list or two). I continue to rhyme and that's actually getting on my nerves, but once you start it's hard to stop because I just type right on through (as you can see, the rhyming is no longer up to just me).
I like the fast cars, but I like bikes more. The louder the prouder (hopefully they'll make a Rocket IV, that'll be the dream). I startle easy, but that's a bad thing for those that often come to me. I don't worry much but frustrate easy, I hate word counts because that's too easy, or hard depending on the limiting skew. I have a Costco membership I can't get rid of and a library that still says I'm 25¢ overdue. What else can I say?
I like the women with red hair, and dislike the dreaded dreadlock hair (to me it's a godawful nightmare to have skin so fair and terrible hair). My last girlfriend broke up with me (even though she's the one that's crazy). I'm biased, hypocritical, and cruel, but I have high standards though. I don't mind murderers so much as I mind thieves (don't ask me why, I don't know why). I don't like the fat, I tolerate the meek, but I just must say I abhor the inconceivably mentally weak. Sometimes grammar is a crime, and I do mind if one's face is covered in what appears to be grime.
I like Queen, Bowie, Billie (either Idol and Joel will do). Elton John's songs are way too long (but at least the Lion King is good, but only because Jeremy Irons and James Earl Jones). I love Rock 'n Roll, Swing and Pop. Jazz, RnB, Hip-Hop. Beastie Boys are my fav (Still miss MCA to this day). I love my headphones, but not my earbuds. I've run through quite a few pairs, from JLAB, Skull Candy, JVC, the WESC, Phillips and Sony too, as those are just a few but never Beats, they just don't do. They leak so much it makes the Titanic look like a minor flu. For the price they sure look nice but that's about all they goddamn do (I curse and cuss; search your feelings, you know this to be true). I'm tall, I'm flashy, but yet so sophisticated I make Abner Doubleday look downright nasty. But of course, this could all be a lie, so far as you knew.
I like movies. Like 'em a lot, so long as they're ones with coherent plot. Terrible actors? I've seen a few, but none so bad as Darren Ewing. I prefer older actors to the new. Sometime their flare is what's to do. I had more typed, I swear it's true, but my tab up and close, so not sure what all to do. I had some save, as you can see, but right clicking the tab enraged the likes of me. It closed along with the work and even the keyboard lost some tooth. I no longer have an esc key, and the cue (letter) is gone too, along with the arrow keys, left, right and down. I smashed off a chunk of the number pad, so no zero and one, and the right half of the keyboard is a mystery for some. I lost an enter key, of that I am sure. Where was I?
I do apologise for the temper I threw, so I do so hope I can start anew. Come one, come all! Step right up and come on down, because someone new has come to town. Someone lean and mean (but also keen) to see what it is you have to offer. I'm looking for friends, I'm looking for pairs! I'm looking for followers and more!So smash on your helmets, strap on your seat-belts and be sure and cinch them up tight, for you ride with the JDJ tonight.
