Jessie's contest/musical career?

By now u almost all know Team Rocket is getting a new (awesome) look and from what i heard they are getting daily missons from Giavanni. If this is so will jessie quit her pokemon contest career? (or in BW's case pokemon musicals) Shes gotten alot better then when she first started but to do contest wont that mean disobeying giavanni?

Also am i the only one whos noticed but james didnt really have any new pokemon this year(he got mime jr way back and carnivine within the first 2 episodes) and gave away his canea to gardinia!. Meanwhile jessie got a yanma/yanmega halfway through the season. james really needs to get new pokemon!

I think she "announced" that she was quitting Pokémon Contests when she threw away her contest costume at the end of the Grand Festival.

From what I see as of now in the BW series, it doesn't seem to me that Jessie or James would take part in Musicals. They seem quite serious about the new task assigned to them, so I doubt whether either of them would be able to spare time to take part in Musicals.

I'm pretty sure that as the series progresses, James would catch some new Pokemon. The Rocket Trio were made to leave their previous Pokemon in the Rocket Headquarters before leaving for Isshu as the native people might grow suspicious of them for owning foreign Pokemon. Remember how surprised Shooti was when he saw a Pikachu with Ash? So that must be the reason they weren't allowed to take any of their old Pokemon.

Yeah, I too think that Team Rocket should concentrate more on their new jobs instead of wasting time on participating in Musicals. I think Dento would be more suited for the job. :)

From what I've seen so far, Jessie won't be taking part of contests/musicals any time soon (she even threw away her contest outfit at the end of the Sinnoh Grand Festival).

To be honest, no I don't think so.

She gave up on her contest career after Dawn lost against Zoey in the Sinnoh gand festival, she even threw her costume away. As so musicals, I don't really even see musicals being a big thing in the anime now, they will probably just make one episode about musicals and forget about them, like the Pokeathlon episode.

Also you need to consider how much Team Rocket have changed their image this series, like Mervyn797 said, they would be too focused on what Giovanni wants them to do. In the last episode of DP, when the trio got a call from Giovanni telling them he needed them they were so happy so I guess since then they have tried to stay more serious.

Yeah...as long as the writers don't ruin them (make them like they've been for the first four regions, particularly Hoenn and Sinnoh (Giovanni fantasies)), then I don't think they'll participate in musicals.

What I want to know is how they're planning on catching a pokémon when they can't use their own.....unless Giovanni imported some?

It does seem a bit cruel, as Musashi/Jessie grew so much and became so much better at Contests, but yes, the Rockets as they are now are clearly different from the Rockets we've grown to love (alright, so I might be speaking for Rocket fans here xD;), they're more serious, the way they were in the very beginning... we'll just have to wait and see where their current plot takes them.

However, I don't see Musashi having any time to spare for Contests nowadays, as was said before. The Rockets have their plotline now and it seems to be heavily tied to their organization and whatever secret organization exists in the Isshu region.

Kojiro getting a new Pokemon seems likely, though!
